Just wondering where did these two bowlers disappear to.Last I remember they weren't dropped for specifically bad performances.
Imran Khan I remember was quite decent in some of the UAE test series, medium pacer, good control over line and length, seaming the ball a bit ,reverse swing...quite similar to Abbas except a bit faster on average.

Sohail Khan can be criticized for losing the plot at times but over all was decent enough. With his innings by innings wickets column reading as :5,2,5,1 against England in England.

Just wondering if these two have a chance of featuring in overseas test tours.

Imran Khan was a Test workhorse, without much penetration or wicket-taking ability, except with the reverse swinging/old ball.

I don't think there's a place for him now, but he's certainly better than Mir Hamza.

As for Sohail Khan, Mickey Arthur don't seem to like him and has had quite a few outrages at him (e.g. in the PSL).

He was very good in LOIs.

We saw how was he hubling in his second spell in AUS.

Please check Sohail Khan's latest interview with us - Its always good to check before opening new threads

David Warner's century before lunch in Sydney finished Imran Khan's career.

Sohail's fitness was poor.

Perplexingly, I can't tell whether it is the summary dismissal of Hamza or Khan which I find the most obtuse. It is encouraging that no matter how consistently wrong you are, the conviction never dims.

They both did well for Pakistan. Imran Khan did better than amir in UAE and Sohail showed amir how to take wickets in England. I hate the ppers here who don't respect player contribution. They did do something for Pakistan after all.

Absolutely - and I was there as the crowd literally laughed as Imran Khan bowled his 118K pies.

By lunch on Day 1, Imran’s career was ruined.

By the time Australia batted again a couple of days later, Yasir Shah was opening the bowling!

Mickey Arthur had gone to Australia with a point to prove about his own sacking by Cricket Australia.

At Brisbane his team almost won. At Melbourne they should have drawn.

But at Sydney, Imran Khan’s humiliation became Mickey Arthur’s humiliation.
