I know you guys have very limited cricket knowledge. He hits a a lot of 4s which more than makes up for it.

Business will be back to usual once he plays proper bowlers in T20Is. Just look at the bowlers he faced today. PSL as a whole has been very low level in terms of quality.

His /2024, 2025 and 2026 Balls/4 is more or less the same. 6.7 vs 6.6 vs 6.33. Not sure what he added then in that area. If anything he had better balls/4 in 2024 than this year.
Ok great, since you’re so fair, you’d agree - both Hassan Nawaz and Haris should be higher in the pecking order because they’ve performed at a higher level.

If Babar is scoring with this rate in every PSL match, there is some issue with the bowling in Pakistan.

mixture of weakening standards of psl and bobsy getting some confidence back. given his horror show in the BBL, id take this with a bucket of salt. if hes back in form in red ball, and odis, then maybe there might be more to it.

He seems to score consistently in the PSL anyway tbh even when he was in his worst form.
It’s the pitches as well.
I don’t know how hard he works behind the scenes, generally when you begin to score heavily in red ball then we’re seeing the fruits of some technical adjustment.
This could just be a case of him going back to his old technique without trying to be too clever & feasting on some jobber bowling attacks in friendly conditions.
In the recent WC he was forcing his hand and trying different grips which didn’t work for him.
It’s good news for ODI’s if he got his confidence back but no way he should be anywhere near the national T20 side & in red ball cricket - there’s a lot more to do & the PSL in isolation should never be used as leverage.

If there is an issue with the bowling standards, why isn't any better local or foreign able to score as much as Babar. Why Babar is always, always amongst the highest run getters? Because he is an extremely elite batter. Babar has more runs in 1 innings than your T20i captain in the whole season. Let this sink in.

when people select their world XI in future Babar won't even make it to C teams. it will be full of Indian and Aus/SA/Eng Players.

Why would any T20 World XI C team feature a player with an SR of 128? That SR is not worth even if the batsman averages 60.

13 centuries... we will compare when someone reaches that milestone. until then, there is no match.

We have better batters now than Salman and Saim, who have bombed spectacularly in the PSL aswell.
Only Farhan, Fakhar and to a certain extent, Usman, have been successful from our World Cup batting line-up. Can’t count Babar as he is not playing at 4 in the PSL.

Saim opens and he should be replaced by Babar. Fakhar can play at 3... Salman should be dropped... simple

We have a habit of bringing raw players and then discarding them in case they fail in 1-2 games... Sameer is a good talent and he is getting noticed. Good for him but he has to get some domestic expereince so that he can get used to different difficult situations.

Makes no difference. Babar can score a billion centuries. Hell he could score for the first team and Pakistan will still not win anything. I hate to inform this young generation but youll have to wait for many many years before you see a successful Pakistan side. If ever.
