Seems clearly not in the right place at the moment.

So should he come later?

8. Should bat after Faheem and Shadab but before Amir, Hasan Ali and Abbas.

He has become a walking wicket for the opposition better to bat at no. 11 is the best position looking at his current form.

Definitely 8!

Don't understand why he can't lead from the front and play a captains innings

One thing is for sure - this guy is not a Test number 6.

In fact I would put Shadab and Faheem ahead of him in the batting order.

This is not what we want to see

A test keeper in current climate for any team should be good enough to bat 6/7 position in a team. Sarfaraz simply isnt good enough with bat alone to make the side on merit. Time for him to be dropped.

Should quit test cricket and concentrate on odis. His fitness is atrocious too. Unfortunately he only playing due to being captain and we don't have a better captian then him.

He is good at playing these kinds of counter attacking knocks that Shadab plays. Should swap with Shadab in the next innings.

They call bat better than him at current form (besides Abbas), so number 10 until he improves.

Hm.

It's about hiding Sarfraz, but the fact is, you cannot hide him anywhere. He has to bat. And he cannot, no matter what position.

Someone needs to tell him to fix his defense. He can only attack it seems and its not going to work all the time

Same problem here
Saha is an even bigger hack with the bat but his wicketkeeping skills are as good as it gets.

His recent form sucks, but this is a man who averages near 40 as a wicketkeeper batsman. Our last consistent wicketkeeper played was Kamran who averaged 30 and worse with the gloves. Not to mention the captaincy skills Sarfraz brings.

Even last year Sarfraz averaged 35.

He's in bad form now, but I back him to come back. I'd always want him playing at 7 highest though, with a proper bat at 6.

Not sure pushing him down the order solves things. I think Sarfraz has taken a bit of a backseat when it comes to batting as he's seeing himself more as specialist captain. Which is wrong. Needs to focus on rotating strike, getting those singles, and milking the spinner/part timers when they come on. Not hitting out like some tailender, he's better than that. I think batting him at 5 in ODIs too might be a good idea too.

People saying he should bat at 11 are being slightly over the top.
