The warm-up matches are done and the think-tank now have to decide who should make the team in the first Test.

What should be Pakistan's bowling attack for the 1st Test match against Australia?

Kashif was not that impressive in warm up. Not a fan of yasir shah but spinner is important to provide rest and caution to fast bowlers .

Abbas have done well against aus also he was not bad in warm up so he deserves first test .Shaheen is automatic choice . nasim should play due to his pace
Abbas
Shaheen
Nasim
Yasir
Iftikhar as 5th option

4 man pace attack supplemented with Iftikhar and Haris.
Imran and Abbas can provide long spells while shaheen and nasim/musa to be used in short bursts.
In Australia, a spinner is only as good as fielding. there are easy singles on offer if the fielders are lazy. So regardless of how good form Yasir might be in, it would serve no good purpose to have him.

Mohammed Abbas (proven performer)
Shaheen Shah Afridi(best of all)
Naseem shah(exciting prospect)
Yasir Shah(experience+batting)

Iftikhar Ahmed should also play

Shaheen and Abbas seem to be definites.

I guess the big question is whether to pick Imran or Naseem, as it looks like Yasir Shah will be picked too.

Shaheen, Abbas, naseem and kashif. 3 pacers, a left arm spinner who can hold up an end. Plus ifitikar can act as 5th bowler.

Naseem is a must
What's the point of him staying in Aus if he isn't even going to be picked for the 1st test?
Should have gone back if that is going to be the case
