looks great. Would kill for some of the chicken now. A homemade burger would go amiss though....
 
I think BBQ will be come a regular fixture - so easy and tasty - and easy to clean up afterwards.

Just managed to try out that Madagascan Vanilla desert at long last. Thumbs up from me:)

Took me about 20 mins to put all the bits together (obviously only need to do that once)

Bought some easy lite charcoal from Tesco - you just pop a bag in the BBQ tray and light the bag - it just burn fro 15 mins and the flame goes - then you are ready to cook. About 15 mins per each side of meat.

Was great.
 
I mean I have a bbq packed up somewhere in the garage, what else would i require?

Charcoal?

Charcoal being the obvious, you also would need some kind of lighter fluid, matches, some skewers for whatever your'e cooking, be it seek kababs or chicken tikkas, grates to rest your onions/veggies and bread on.....

Yes - there are about 3-4 types. Ordinary charcoal that requires an 'accelerant' i.e lighter fuel to creat a flame, or 'BBQ Ready' Chacoal which you just need 1 match to light.

A 5kg bag of charcoal costs £2.50 from Tesco, but a 4kg bag of charcoal that is READY/needs no fuel cost £5 ish.

Then you need the skewers/grills etc (see my pic)

It depends on how old you are obviously :P .....But you should have someone to help you setup the charcoal and how much charcoal to put, but it is an art as to how much heat you want for grilling...

I see you missed my zinger ;-) .....Well what I meant was in encouraging Tahir to go out and by a bbq and light it up himeself without any help, some thing could go wrong and then you could be blamed for Tahir's home being blown up :>

A BBQ is a one-man show - you ddnt need any help in this age of quick-light charcoal (I speak as an expert of 1 BBQ)

Your'e a very quick learner then...There is an art though of how to place the charcoals within the grate to get optimum amount of heat and flame around all areas and not to concentrate it in one area, because then all the food won't cook evenly ie. something may cook faster than others which results in waiting and re-cooking the food that has gone cold.....

Chicken wings

Boneless chicken in a lebenese marinade

We dont eat red meat of any description.....
 
I gave up red meat about 4-5 years ago. Chicken and fish - thats all my family eat now.

Not sure what happens to red meat when it goes inside - It cant be healthy....
 
i have to have red meat once a week

meanwhile, mum's on strike, so had to make do with fish and chips from the local chippy :(

apparently, they say mouli is good for your stomach/hazma....and gobi is good for the volcanos to explode in your tummy.

I might have to join the Weight Watchers Club. Been putting on some weight.

Can somebody tell me if 64 Kg for a kid thats 5'8 and 13 years old is average?

I weigh 68kg and im 26, 5'11...which is average for my age and height
