What's new

What was the last thing you ate?

Toast pizza with cherry tomato sauce heaped with lamb, pepper, chilli, tomato, onion and goats cheese toppings. I should be on masterchef

Pasta for lunch, when I came home I had Crisps and then Nutella on toast and for dinner I'm having chicken and lamb shish, I've ate lots more since wednesday which was when I was last on pakpassion but obviously can't remember

2 beef cheese burgers with 2 cokes followed with a glass of milk with honey. :fawad

Indeed I do, I'm always found eating. By the way, although I'm not skinny, how do you know I'm not fat?

I assume you're not fat as you like cricket and play cricket and you are very smart so I doubt you'd come on here to say you keep eating on a cricket website. You may be fat but IDK. Are you fat?

Chinese rice with chicken manchurian, lasagna and aloo gosht :inzi

All that with Sprite :nasir

Fish cutlet and fish fry with vegetable soup and bread.
And had mosambi and apple to finish off!

for lunch I had a sunseed roll from sainsburys with Salmon, Cucumber and Olives in it. It was fairly nice. Then I had a doughnut. I also had some soup and fruits and biscuits. I had a packet of crisps to add to that. I think I may have had some more but idk

tandori ckicken , black daal with cream & butter , soft green peas with cashew & masala, salad & garlic naan followed by 2 hot gulab jamuns ... nice nice meal at a small eatery . pretty reasonable too, we were 6 & paid just 2100 :)

What is black daal?

it is called daal makhani in hotels but dhaba's [ road side joints] call it saabat urad or maa ki daal -they say it is cooked for 8 to 10 hours on low heat before serving ... it is thick ,creamy ,mildly spicy & very tasty :)

What is black daal?

Black daal is daal makhani, instead of getting the usual yellow/orange lentils we also get black lentils here which when cooked give a dark brownish/black colour.
Also some butter is put in it to enhance the taste. This dish is very popular in india and is the favourite daal of all the daal lovers!

Fish and chips with two slices of garlic bread and a can of Pepsi. My stomach was able to withstand the challenge.

Chicken cheese burger with a chicken piece and a coke followed it up with a glass of watermelon juice.

My breakfast on the 8th of September 2013

For my breakfast today, I ate a cereal combination consisting of Rice Krispies and Weetabix, followed by two sandwiches containing boiled eggs and mayonnaise. The latter was a refreshing break from my usually generic breakfast - which comprises of a cereal everyday, no matter if it a weekend or a weekday - because it was probably the first time in months I had eaten eggs for breakfast, and for that matter, eggs at all.

I've got a query that I wish to be answered. Why is it that Pakistani elders tell you to refrain from eating fish and milk on the same day (in that order) - what is the alleged illness which is said to exist because of this combination?

It is believed to cause a pigmentation disorder in the skin called vitiligo.

There is no medical proof of it but dermatologists suggest to avoid it because there have been reported cases.

Vitiligo is genetic as well.

My grandmother and her sister both suffered from it.

Just had 3 aloo parathas with butter and dahi:nasir
And topped it off with chocolate icing cake:116:

yesterday, along with my biryani, I had sweet potato and channa salaan. Today I had cookie crisp for breakfast, then some lassi and for lunch I had cheese and onion pasty followed up by jacket potato (sweet potato) with some sardines. Also had some leftover suji ke halva from yesterday. At tea time i had wispa ice cream and I later had a cheese topped bun (with no toppings) and for dinner I had rice with thai green curry and my moms other chicken curry with her own recipe.Very nice. Ate some more probably but can't remember all
