What's new

What was the last thing you ate?

Really though we should be avoiding things like processed and junk food and instead be eating food with lots of nutrition and provide us with natural useful energy like Bananas, Avocados, Raspberries, Blackberries, Watermelon, Rice, Honey, Chicken, Fish, Lamb, Oats, Eggs, Green beans, Apple, Oranges, Coconut oil, Olive oil, Milk, Grapes, Soup etc etc

All the unhealthy food does to you is make you gain weight, more hungrier etc.

Really? I've never had coconut chutney. Is it good?

yes it is . Some people besides this give a powdered dry chutney & a small katori of ghee .You got to add the powder to ghee ,mix it into a thick paste kind of chutney & have with it dosa . awesome combo .

Taro root stir fry in spices [ thats dry masala arbi sabzi :D] , egg curry & roti . We are now using a multi-grain aaata to make roti at home & it has for every 9.00 kgs of whole wheat , 250 grams of oats, maize, chana daal & soya bean - this is considered to be healthy .

I am fasting.

Missed around 20 in Ramzan because of typhoid.

Waiting for sehri :akhtar

Keema roti.

I see.

i had noodles for dinner yesterday and then some toblerone. Today I had a mixture of party prawns thingy, idk how to describe it, butternut squash and risotto bites and a jalapeno finger

Had a pakora sandwhich for lunch in school and then ate 4 tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches followed by two galaxy chocolate bars once I returned from school. :moyo

Luscious kebabs with lucozade orange, than a few almonds as a lighter ending to dinner.

Lunch was a delicious Burrito from Chipotle. Filled with Grilled Chicken Chunks, Brown Rice , Black Beans, Fajitas , fresh tomatoes , sour cream , corn , cheese and lettuce topped with Tabasco Jalapeno Sauce.

For Dinner, I am expecting company. Cooked Chicken Biryani and also whipped up mint raita. Can't wait to have dinner now.

Veggie cutlets in bun with Mayo & sliced onions with black pepper followed by coke . Will have some carrot halwa shortly .

Today at school I ate a margherita pizza slice, followed by two Kitkat chunky (white chocolate) bars, all topped down with a bottle of water. This formed the basis of lunch.

Once I returned home, I ate spicy scrambled eggs with sweetcorn and bread, followed by a variety of snacks ranging from Rainbow Drops (a sugar-coated, puffed maize cereal-type confectionery) to Chocolate Leibniz biscuits (which are absolutely wonderful because of their butter-rich/creamy chocolate.

Although all of the food was extremely tasty, I'll have to admit that it is likely to have had an adverse effect upon my health.

Beef pulao, fish, chicken curry, saag, turnip, 2 bottles of coke, fruit chaat and gajrela.

Quite a feast :inzi

:O

FOUR sandwiches!? :O Also, a pakora sandwich? :taufeeq

Bro - you need to cut down a bit. :yk

Don't worry bro, I'm a renowned "big-eater" (whenever I eat tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches, I usually consume eat four of them).

Plus, you'll be even more surprised to read that it was actually TWO pakora sandwiches, rather than the singular one you have assumed it to be from what I wrote. :afridi

That reminds me, I ate biryani around half an hour ago.

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you weigh? :afridi

:))

And what is stone? :P Do you mean 130 pounds?

So...Canada hasn't even discovered what the measurement of stones are? :13:

I've just checked the conversion rate - 13 stones is actually 182 pounds, which seems a colossal amount, Oh well, I enjoy my food and would sacrifice for my well-being (joke!). :)

I was around 90 pounds at 14. I am now 130 pounds for 5ft9.

Healthy people unite! :P

I am "healthy" - but Asian-style. :)

I've just remembered: measuring myself a few weeks ago, the figure of 12 and a half stone/13 stone arose (a good 85-92 pounds more than you were at 14). What must be considered though is that I'm 16 and stand at around 6 feet/6 feet 1 inch tall - plus, I enjoy my food. :)

To be honest though., I'm not really fat or overweight (at least from my outward appearance), although I'm well-built and have been described as 'massive' and occasionally 'a gentle giant'.

I understand you're exaggerating here but surely you can't be around 91 pounds (especially considering you're 14 years old, I believe)?

LOL SOPL - I swear I'm not exaggerating! I'm exactly 90 pounds (last time I checked was a few weeks ago)!!! :))) :)))

You are the double of me - literally! :ibutt

Regarding this topic, even when I was aged around about 14 I was still weighing in around about 58 kg (around about 9 stone/125 lbs) - we had to weigh ourselves on a regular basis in Kyokushin (a full-contact style of karate).

Even before my growth spurt, I've been relatively heavy (much like the batsman in my avatar - although, thankfully not to as great an extent as Inzamam-Ul-Haq) from being a fatty to when I was younger to just being stocked (though mostly fat than muscle, to be honest). The change to a much more appropriate weight-height ratio probably occurred once I received my growth spurt and the ratio began to even out significantly. As such, I'm more stocky than chubby nowadays (although I definitely need to significantly need to improve in terms of my diet).

I'm not anexoric, I swear. Why do you have to abuse me in this way? :moyo

If we ever do a Pakpassion movie, you have to be played by Kit Harrington. Not only do you know how to please women, you are also inquisitive, melancolic and perpetually victimized.

Had pasta and kebabs recently for supper, delicious, :)

In the UK, there have been numerous claims that several products from McDonald's and KFC are Halal. Some people have opted to eat products from these establishments (such as a fillet of fish, chips etc), clamouring that they are acceptable to eat because they are don't contain any unlawful meat products - with some suggesting that chicken and beef products are Halal in those establishments which are present in areas with large Muslim populations (particularly KFC chicken).

However, what can't be forgotten and can't be understated is that McDonald's have never declared that their products are Halal and even if KFC has (in areas such as Dewsbury etc), personally I wouldn't risk consuming meals at these places. There is a strong possibility of cross-contamination with products requiring frying (McDonald's has even declared that they can't ensure small amounts of oil from their chicken products don't enter the vat of oil that they place their fish products in - as they filtrate their oil to allow it to be kept in good condition).

As such, I think you'd be much more at psychological ease eating at an accredited Muslim corporation/a restaurant or take-away owned by Muslim. Plus, you wouldn't be risking eating Haram products just to fill yourself for a short amount of time.

By the way, which area are you intending to visit?

For breakfast I had a couple of Crispy Chicken Sandwiches that I bought from Burger King last night after a few drink with a friend at one of our favorite night spots.

For supper, I had Chicken Wings and a few slices for Pizza ( topped with Grilled Chicken, Spinach , Sun Dried Tomatoes, Black Olives , Onions , Mushrooms, Green and Red Peppers and Feta Cheese).

Leftover chicken biryani, raita, and salad (from last night's daawat, which included raan, naan, kachoris, carrot halwa, and soft drinks). For lunch, I had garlic bread and doughnuts, followed by a few Pringles. Alhamdulillah. :)
