What was your favorite batting performance of 2023?

There were several notable batting performances in cricket in 2023. Most of them came in this ODI World for me. Some of them that I would like to mention are:

Glen Maxwell: 201* (128) against Afghanistan in the ODI World Cup 2023

Virat Kohli: 101* (121) against South Africa in the ODI World Cup 2023 (Sachin's record for most ODI centuries was equaled)

Fakhar Zaman: 126* (81) against New Zealand in the ODI World Cup 2023

Soumya Sarkar: 169 (151) against New Zealand during Bangladesh's tour of New Zealand (Broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record of the highest ODI score in New Zealand)

Shubman Gill: 208 (149) against New Zealand during New Zealand's tour of India

Henrich Klassen: 174 (83) against Australia during the Australia's tour of South Africa

Quinton de Kock: 174 (140) against Bangladesh in the ODI World Cup 2023

This was an incredible performance in the World Cup, especially if you see that Maxwell was cramping so badly

I'd still take Maxwell's marathon 200 but Head's century certainly makes any such list.

It's a tie between two innings

first is Maxwell's against Afghanistan in the World Cup and the second is Fakhar's against New Zealand.

I would rate Maxwell's inning slightly higher than Fakhar's but both were outstanding innings.

I think without any doubt it would be Maxwell's one against Afghanistan in CWC 2023.

Considering the score they were chasing in a wc match, considering his own horrible form and considering it wasn't even considered a possibility that Pakistan could win chasing 400 against NZ, Fakhar innings takes the cake for me. Maxwell inning was also quite similar in terms of situation and importance, and hence close but i thot Fakhar was the best.
