India put up a really good fight for this test match, and really should have won it, 194 was a very chaseable score on this pitch. England bowled extremely well to get out of this second innings, it's tough when all four pacers are firing at home.
I don't think this England test side is very good, I think India is a better team. England have been helped by additions of Curran and Rashid who strengthen the batting a bit, which has and still is the weakness.
When Pakistan faced England in UK with Misbah at the helm, I thought we were the better team, we should have won. Azhar was in form, we had both YK and Misbah and we had Yasir Shah who was a real match winner that series (despite arguably not playing great in matches we lost). People were celebrating the draw, but honestly we looked stronger and played better in that series. Was a chance gone missing.
The recent Pakistan series, I feel both teams were rather weak (weaker than the last test series in UK before that), but England were probably favourites given it was home. So 1-1 was probably a fair result, in fact I'd arguably say Pakistan would be more chuffed with that.
Difficult to win out here though, as the home side, I expect England to net at least 1 win in next four tests.
Hence I'm going with a more realistic 2-2 from here out in. I expect India to bounce back, but realistically winning from this point would be very tough.
