So, I was just watching some highlights. And this came up. I vote it to be the most brainless ball ever bowled, at least in this decade!

The mighty Wahab Riaz, against Steve Smith:

[MENTION=865]Big Mac[/MENTION] , nah, I wouldn't call it a full ball bowled. PLUS, it didn't receive as much of a thrashing as Wahab's delivery to Smith.

I don't think the above compares with the brainless-ness of Wahab.

Jadeja's was just a slip of the ball. Wahab bowled that intentionally. :)))

you should be proud your bowling is similar to a top test bowler, he bowls such deliveries at least once a match

Wahab Riaz to Steven Smith , Smith was so wide he wouldn't ever get a bat to ball if wahab had bowled at stumps

I'm unbelievably cool, so obviously I bowl leg-spin. Unfortunately I am also old and broken, so my spinning finger is busted and means I can't bowl leg-spin any more.

Told the captain I couldn't bowl but we were getting battered and he had nobody else to turn to when the opposition were 161/0 after 22 overs :))

So I tried bowling off-breaks, the ball came out like that Jadeja video and my first two overs went for 34 runs. It was just like if Shaz was bowling :))

Captain gave me another over for some reason and I decided to bowl leg-breaks because no real man bowls finger-spin. That's for Englishmen and Indians. :mv

Next 9 overs went for 49 runs which I thought was pretty good considering I bowled right through to the end of the innings with two batsmen on centuries who were trying to smash everything.

Indeed Wahab's delivery is dumbest.

He has got all the titles now, Most runs conceeded by a Pakistani in an ODI, Most brainless bowling spells and we'll as worst ball ever bowled.

Amidst all that carnage, the icing on the cake is Harsha's commentary during that insane Afridi onslaught.

The guy captured the Bangladeshi emotions (even including his fellow commentator :))) ) almost perfectly.....

The best line is...... '.......I think they're fans of Mushfiqur....'

Instead of finger spin you should have tried medium bowling, just like Ganguly used to ball, just throw the ball straight and wait for a miracle to happen, it's also easier to bowl yorkers that way and also an odd bouncer, you just need some practice

Bangladesh started celebrating a bit before Afridi came in. Even Fawad Alam hit them for a couple of sixes when Lala got out:fadi

It's probably one of the most dramatic endings of the last few years.
 
wahab takes the cake! all 3 stumps were exposed with smith standing on the wide line yet he bowls it to his off!

I can swing the ball when trundling in at medium pace but I'm too lazy to bother with anything more than walking in two paces before bowling :uak

you can copy Tendulkar's action, he used to throw the ball straight after a short run up, you can roll your fingers also for variation of the deliveries:srt

No wonder Musfiqur hates India. Harsha was clearly trolling Musfi in front of the whole world.

Still remember that innings from Afridi. He made young Bangla girls cry that day. A real villain.

it was brainless fielding that was more responsible for that, even the bowlers werent that bad except Wahab, even Wahab had catches dropped off his bowling.

the bangali brainless bowling i taught at grassroot level, because youngsters concede 92 runs in 4 balls, genius :)) Sujon Mahmud the next Wasim Akram

I don't understand what Riaz was thinking when he bowled that. Did he think that Smith might have been able to reach the ball if it was aimed at the stumps? Did he get confused and decided to go with his original plan? The most likely thing is that he wasn't able to change his plan at the last second and Smith read him really well.
 
That Wahab delivery to Smith stands out.

There are a few others like Ajmal's short pitched bowling to Hussey in the 2010 World T20 SF and Razzaq's rubbish bowling to Ross Taylor during the 2011 WC.

Nothing wrong with most of this bowling other than the fact that it is length bowling on a flat pitch with dew.

I think the OP was referring to brainless bowling that with no line or length control being shown by the bowler.
