What's the reason for these big 200+ scores in the National T20 Cup?

One part of me is happy that our batsmen are hitting the ball well but then another part says - is there something wrong with the bowling?

Lets keep this thread about Pakistan cricket please.

Quality bowling coaches needed .Most of them are clueless and doesn't know how to bowl on flat wickets .

But on positive note excellent learning opportunity for upcoming bowlers to improve their defensive lines and learn how to bowl on flat wickets

Flat pitches. This is good though, since flat pitches are the staple in most of the world. I'd rather our bowlers learn how to take wickets when nothing is in their favour as opposed to slow tracks like in the early editions of the PSL, since T20Is in majority of the world are played on flat pitches. 170 seems like the minimum score required in T20Is these days.

The boundaries are not even marked properly. I saw clips of the rope not even connected in two places. It’s been rolled out in a way that the organisers consider this to clearly be a friendly contest, more like fun and games

I think it’s the right thing anyway. Pakistan need to get used to home cricket and they need to play more and more on flat decks

Our bowlers have become bunch of softies .i agree they should be exposed to more flat wickets especially at home .

Pretty flat decks and baby boundaries which is why even Shafiq is hitting sixes.

Looks like a conscious effort to encourage more boundary hitting , higher scores. Ropes have been bought in , flat pitches, bowlers look under par as well for the most part.

Short boundaries flat pitches......little bit wayward rusty bowling ......but at the same time fearless aggressive batting

Pitches have been belters. Ball coming onto the bat nicely. Boundaries look slightly short though.

Good wickets for T20 cricket and excellent outfield.

Boundaries defo need to be extended espically if the pitch is lighting but tbh very good pitches

Look at how small the boundaries are. This is Mickey Mouse cricket. The pitch is flat with true bounce like how they are in Australia. But the boundaries need to be pushed back at least 10m back.

Flat wicket.

But our bowling has been in decline for some years, while our batting has gotten better with the likes of Haider Ali, Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafique and Haris Sohail.

I think it's high time PCB hire some modern coaches.........and improve fitness and conditioning.......
Also boundary must be pushed back a bit....
Australia has big boundaries.....t20s doesn't mean boundary size should be 60....meters...
75 meters should be bare minimum

Another 200+ score today - I must say I like these scores :)

It was good to see South Punjab scoring 200 too but it was quite disappointing for South Punjab to gave away these runs in the first innings. Pathetic bowling in the death.

Lightening fast outfield, short boundaries and wayward bowling but this is good experience for young players both batsmen and bowlers

So we had some ordinary scores in the matches leading up to the final and then BOOM - out of nowhere 206/4 by KP
