I should have said popular actors are very short. The likes of Bobby Deol, Rampal, Sushant Singh are all big names.

Forgot to mention that Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan are popular and tall. But majority of popular actors are very short. But they all somehow manage to look tall in front of Katrina, Deepika, Anushka etc.

Na sanju,akshay are tall actors. You dnt even need to visit IMDB for that. There are many websites saying different heights about actors.
Saif all khan,salman ,shahrukh, emran hashmi,varun dhawan ,rajnikant, Amir Khan,govinda,rishi kapoor ,rajesh etc these are average height people.
But akshay ,sanju ,amitabh and all are taller one for sure

Aamir is a genuine short guy, SRK is also shorter than Salman, but Salman is 5'8.5'' as per IMDB, compare him with 5'10'' Sanju and 5'10'' Akshay (again IMDB numbers)

he appears shorter because he has a stockier built. The pic with Katrina it's possible that she wears heels as well, but don't forget these women are all models, they're supposed to be very tall to begin with.
