When was the last time you played cricket?

I used to play cricket regularly but stopped in 2015. My final game (hardball or tape ball) was in 2015.

I saw some desi guys playing cricket today and I asked them to let me bowl 1 delivery. They obliged and I bowled my first ball in 9 years. It was a juicy full-toss which the batter defended for some reason (should've smashed it).

proper game, 6 years ago i think, bowled 2 overs, and had the keeper drop two outside edges. my team had to chase 125 in 20 over, went from 60-0 to 70-9, i came in at eight i think and put on 20 something with the last man before the other batsman got bowled and we got bundled a few short of 100.

was hoping to play again this year, but was too rubbish to be selected, need a lot of practice.

I used to play 40 overs cricket in lower division of Toronto league. Played from 2010 till 2015. Before that, I used to play street cricket (tape ball).

In one league game, I scored 12 runs from 87 balls. LOL. It was because my team was 40/6 after around 10 overs. We had 30 overs to bat out. So, I was blocking. I ended up being not out and my team got bowled out for 99 in around 37 overs. We lost the game by 9 wickets.

I had better success with the ball because most batters in my league were terrible. I got a 5-fer once (could've been a 6-fer but someone dropped a catch).

Did you get hit?

I once got hit near my ear but I had helmet on. So, it wasn't too bad. Without helmet, it could've been catastrophic.

Yesterday. I play teniss ball 20 over game every Sunday mostly as part of an organised tournament with some practice matches. We score using Cricheroes app so you can track your stats and records. Scored 38 Not out and took 1 wicket and 1 catch.

Do you feel like playing again? You are still quite young (23).

When I was 23, I was playing regularly. But, after crossing 30, I no longer have the same enthusiasm.

I played 40 overs cricket here in Canada. Played for 5 seasons.

Depends.. some times we have 2 day matches of 40 overs a day which is basically 5 hours of game play in a day.. sometimes 20-20 day tournaments. Same club.. I was taking About 20 over a side here..
