Sethi and Sharyhar have a lot to answer to.

Where are the domestic cricket reforms we were promised? Don't think we are going to forget about it by putting a glitzy PSL tourney in front of us.

I want to know is where are the proper pitches which encourage stroke play? How will coaching standards be improved? The consistency of the quality of the balls?

PCB say they don't have enough money but they do. If they can fly out their executive entourage around the world they can fund the above.

Chairman after chairman has promised us reforms but they never deliver. Our cricket is dieing and we need to make reforms. A T20 tournament is not the means to an end, investors will make money but it will not affect grass roots. This is just unbelievable, we are not in the 90s anymore where we can get away with a pathetic 3rd world domestic system. We need structure and quality. How do we hold PCB accountable?

I am sick of the sight of how low our rankings are, always barely making it out of the group stages of ICC tournaments. Same old mental midgets representing us internationally not able to deliver what is expected of them. We need these reforms.

Which overhaul?

They fooled you yet again by replacing captain, coach, selectors. The fans forgot the rest in excitement.

An overhaul is not possible currently as influential people and friends of PCB's top will not allow it. No one really cares either in that country.

It is at the same dump where all such promises are that were made in the last 20 years.

I share the same sentiments as the OP.

I just feel like tearing my hair out because it's so obvious there is something so flawed at the domestic game.

These same recycled tried and tested players never improve every time they play. Some even have fat bellies yet unbelievably still get selected.

Then there are some who get selected for the wrong formats - we know who they are without the need to name.

But when you have people like Sethi in charge what do people expect ?? He is never going to reform domestic cricket as he only a Yes man to Mr Sharif.

And as Mr Sharif appointed him then he takes responsibility for this mess.

Maybe when there is a change of government there will be changes because nothing is going to happen till then.

There is no such thing .... they know it very is easy to fool an average fan. Yes, they may change a logo or redo their website .... but that is as far as it will go. Pathetic. They may read such blogs and laugh their rear ends off.
Sooo .... until we get in a reeeeal reformer, we have to circle in a holding pattern !!!!!
