For me it's between the current top 3; Bumrah, Shaheen and Pat Cummins
Let's look at each player's schedule
Jasprit Bumrah
- Currently has played 9 Matches (17 Inns)
Upcoming:
- 1 Test vs England (Away)
- 4 Test vs Australia (Home)
- 2 Test vs Bangladesh (Away)
I haven't watched Bumrah at all really, so I don't have any proper judgment, but I'm just gonna say Bumrah will end up third among these three bowlers.
Shaheen Shah Afridi
- Currently has played 7 Matches (13 Inns)
Upcoming:
- 2 Test vs Sri Lanka (Away)
- 3 Test vs England (Home)
- 2 Test vs New Zealand (Home)
Shaheen Shah Afridi has done some nice minnow bashing and had a decent series vs Australia. Expect him to take the majority of wickets with the new ball.
Pat Cummins
- Currently has played 7 Matches (14 Inns)
Upcoming:
- 2 Test vs Sri Lanka (Away)
- 4 Test vs India (Away)
- 2 Test vs West Indies (Home)
- 3 Test vs South Africa (Home)
I expect Pat Cummins to dominate pretty much all of his upcoming series, he is a top-class bowler. And also because he is assumed to end up playing more matches than Bumrah and Shaheen, I predict Pat Cummins to top the list. By the way, this is one example of why we need all teams playing the same number of matches!!

I would imagine it'd be either Cummins or Bumrah as both teams have lots of cricket to play. Also a realistic possibility that both teams make it to the final hence they'll have an additional test too
