Which channels are you getting your Pakistani news from?

I have been following the latest situation of the Azadi & Inqilab March here in the UK primarily on ARY, Geo & Samaa channel . Which channels are you getting your news from and are their any channels that are blocked in your city as being reported in the media.

Haven't watched ARY recently but have to agree with the Geo thing.

I've found Samaa to be balanced.

Shahzeb is IK's fan, not to take anything away from him as he is one of the better anchors out there but he gets a little biased when it comes to IK and PTI.

Talat is the real deal. I don't agree with him all the time but he's got class. Best anchor ever!

ARY is supporting both the protests in Islamabad. Only anchors on there who are playing the other card are Kashif Abbasi and Waseem Badami.

Geo is the other extreme. Supporting the government to no end and depicting the protests as epic failures.

Express was also leaning towards the protestors but now they have pulled back. Express were forced to fire two of their anchors who were taking the protestors side, Moeed Mirzada and Fawad Chaudhry were forced off air by PML-N. Shame on Express for bowing down. Their other anchors like Shahzaib and Imran haven't been see as much as before either because they too were blaming things on the government. The guy controlling every broadcast on Express now in Javed Chaudhry who is pro government now.

Other channels are more or less down the middle.

Talat is class but guys like Absar Alam and Mushtaq Minhas on AAj are a big put off.

Yeah, I don't like them either. Talat makes up for their mediocrity. I like Talat even better when he comes as an analyst on others shows. Him, Babar Sattar and Saleem Safi are better than the whole lot put together.

Nah. He is clearly a fan of IK's personality but actually attacks PTI a lot. I think he is fairly balanced.

Another I like is Kashif Abbasi.

Talat is a real intellectual kind of guy but he's not the best to watch. Doesnt grab your attention the same way

Geo and Aaj running after money like always but i am surprised to see ExpressNews attitude they thrown 3 of their anchors on Pervez Rasheed demand and now Javed 'Fake Stories' Chaudhary is leading their anchor teams and making it look like NS is the last hope of democracy in Pakistan lol. Zia baba ka janasheen humain democracy dega ya humaare jismon per bas jo kapre reh gae wo be utaar ker bech dega.

Luqman should not be called an anchor or a journalist. He's a rabble rouser, a tool, an actual player rather than being an observer. Any network which allows people like that to hog air time and allow them to spread their propaganda without any rebuttal or censor should simply be labeled as the Army network.

I personally like Sabir Shakir their Islamabad Bearu Chief always coming up with some interesting inside stories instead of masala one. Kashif is neutral as always while Badami is biased just like Lucman.

I usually listen to Shahid Masood, and Mushtaq Minhas and Nusrat Javed.

Talat Hussain is good too, but he isn't as frequent as the others.

On days when I'm bored and looking for melodrama, I search for Luqman.

I must say the state of pakistani journalism is dire.
