Which Pakistani banks have got Visa debit cards which work for online Visa transaction?

I needed to get a netflix subscription, but my Allied Bank Visa debit wouldn't work as while Netflix does allow Visa debit, but Allied Bank haven't started Visa Debit to be used for online payments.

Which Banks in Pakistan do you know which have Visa Debit card, and could be used for online visa facility.

UBL and i have been using UBL Wallet Card online from last 9/10 years without any issue. Wallet Card is a label given by UBL to their Debit Cards. As an account holder of UBL you can get both VISA and MasterCard.

But it can tricky for new users. You will have to print and fill an internet registration form available on their website and fax/email it to UBL HQ. Once you registration is done (it takes 24 to 48 hours) you can start using your card online but remember you will have to call UBL helpline every time to activate internet session on your UBL wallet card. You will have to tell them the amount you want to spend so they put a limit on your card and you can't spend more thn that amount during that internet session. The maximum duration of an internet session is 24 hours and after that your session is automatically deactivated and card can't be used online until you call them again for another internet session activation on your card. Session activation charges are 100+tax (around 116 rupees).

If you don't have a UBL account and UBL wallet card you can also apply for another great service by UBL that is their prepaid visa cards service you don't need to open an account for that. Just visit one of their big branches (I think you are from Rawalpindi so visit their main branch in Saddar near GPO) and ask for UBL Wiz Internet Card that is always online so you don't need to call their helpline every time for a transaction and you don't need to fill any internet application form like we have to for their Debit Cards. You can deposit your prepaid card by any UBL branch it's just like depositing a bank account. Remember there are many categories of UBL Wiz Cards like Teen / Ladies / Traveler but you need UBL Wiz Internet Card that is perfect for you.

I don't know why UBL Prepaid Wiz Cards are not that popular in Pakistan they even offer UBL Wiz ACCA Card and UBL WIZ ICAP Card that can be used by ICAP/ACCA students/members to make online payments of their exam registration and annual membership fees.

Is UBL internet transaction through your ONline banking profile, or direct from Visa, where you punch in ur visa info to do transaction.

Directly through your Visa/Mastercard (UBL give you an option to get any of these 2). You will have to enter you card number, 3 digit code, expiry date, full name, address etc for the transaction.

I will recommend getting a UBL Prepaid Wiz card instead of going for the long process of opening UBL account thn getting a card and submitting internet application form etc. It's easy and quick to get the Prepaid Wiz Card just by visiting a branch and thn your card will be active within a few days once Nadra verify your data (that is done in the background between bank and nadra so you don't need to submit anything to nadra)
