Overall batsmen ranked in order of merit in similarity to Bradman

1.Barry/Tendulkar
3.Kanhai
4.Lara
5.Weekes
6.Viv Richards
7.Sehwag
8.Steve Smith
9.Graeme Pollock

Barry and Sachin were the most complete and clinically perfect batting machines, blending subtle elements of unorthodoxy in batting.Their improvisation was similar to the Don.Kanhai traversed regions in batting even Bradman did not, taking creative genius to heights of the sublime. For sheer imperiousness for a sustained period Lara was Bradman's greatest rival. At his best Weekes looked like a virtual clone being as mercurial but was much more of a back foot player.Viv surpassed Bradman for sheer domination striding on the cricket field like the greatest emperor ever but often resorted to violence.Sehwag was like a Viv Richards of his time giving art of batting a new dimension with domination in heights of the divine.Smith rekindled Bradman's characterize of a bating machine more than any Australian.Graeme Pollock took batting domination or craft by a left-hander to heights unexplored.Kalicharan was a left-handed Rohan Kanhai who in full flow looked more clinical than any left-hander.Sobers came closest to batting perfection as few ever did combining perfect technique with brutal power.Pieterson on his day could surpass any batsmen for sheer domination and resembled a machine when piercing gaps..Greg Chappell and Ponting emulated Bradman in terms of prolonged domination .Inzamam may have appeared lazy but on his day traversed regions few could ever with a willow, surpassing even Sachin or Lara for reflexes.

My criteria is how similar batsmen were to Bradman and not assessing mere level of domination, statistics or technique.Placed Bradman and Tendulkar as they had Bradman;s subtle nuances like nonone else in addition to take domination to heavenly proportions.Viv or Sehwag resorted more to violence or Weekes to an extent. There were more punishing batsmen like Gilchrist,Gayle or Devilliers but they lacked the clinical element to the extent of a Kanhai,Pollock,Barry,Tendulkar or Lara.Placed Sehwag because of his ability to register mammoth scores like the Don.

Steve Smith def for me. Bradman's greatest attribute was his mental strength and determination. No batsman has possessed this to the degree than Smudge does.

I read somewhere that a computer analysis found the closest batsman to the technique of Bradman was Inzamam Ul Haq!!!!!

Well, as per Don Bradman, it's Sachin. If I remember correctly, there is an interview of him in which he says that.

When i see Sir Donald Bradman bat in old video footages, i cannot help but feel the uncanny similarity with KL Rahul.

Bradman is the nearest thing to Rahul i have seen till date.

Just watched few clips of Bradman's batting.

He isnt an ATG player but closest in terms of batting style to Don is Salim Malik.

Not an ATG player. What, if he isn't nobody is

Read again.Subject in my Sentence is Salim Malik. "He" & "Not an ATG" describes Salim Malik.
Not sure who's subject in your sentence. Ambiguity. Please specify who is "he" in your post.

Sorry completely misread your post

The only ATG Malik is is an ATG matchfixer

He was corrupt and rightly dealt with.
What I meant to say was his batting style is closest to Don Bradman amongst the players I have seen batting.
Would like to know your comments wrt this.

Ummm Sehwag!?! The guy with ZERO footwork? The only similarity that he has with Bradman is that they are both right handed.

Steve Smiths batting style has no resemblance at all with Bradman. I couldn't read any further after that.

What about others like Tendulkar,Lara or Viv?or even Barry?

If by Bradman like you mean batsmen who come out into the middle and bat with the aura and presence of a King - then out of the batsmen I’ve seen over the years the following come to mind:

King Viv
King Lara
King Kohli

And if it’s a sunny day in Harare and a good surface to bat on and Zimbabwe’s premier pace bowler is injured , then and only then King Hafeez.

Smith's resemblance to Bradman is his mindset, the most important part of batsmanship and what he more than any player since Bradman has perfected

By all accounts, Bradman had phenomenal footwork. The list could start by omitting those renowned for a lack of footwork. Slater deserves to be in, just on the basis of that, ahead of several in the list.

:))) What the hell man.
