Which team has done worse, given quality of opponents: Pakistan in Australia/England in West Indies?

Pakistan have faced humiliation in their every tour of Australia in recent times. England has also failed to win a series in WI in their last 4 tours, losing 3 and drawing one.

While statistically, England in WI have not been as bad as Pakistan in Aus. But if we consider the quality of the opponents, has England's performance in WI been more shambolic than Pakistan's in Australia?

Not even a question. Eng won in 2004 and there were many series that they have lost in which matches were close.

Pakistan has lost every single test in Aus in the last 25-27 years. That's not the case with Eng in WI.

If we are comparing historically then it is Pakistan.

But if the discussion is the two series we just had, then England have done worse clearly losing to the Windies who are 8th ranked test team.

Pakistan losing to Australia is normalcy, they always get smashed by them, it is a routine. Australia are second best test team of this generation.
