Afghanistan purposely playing below par against India is not a conspiracy. Only someone with a constipated mind will not see the truth.

Afghanistan barely won against UAE the other day, did they deliberately play below par?

They are a very inconsistent team as shown by their ranking and blow hot and cold depending on their days.

For example they were very bad in the first T20 against pak here and then played great in the second one

Did they deliberately play below par the first game?

Taking the inconsistency of a near minnow team and using it to make conspiracy theories about their loss to a powerhouse like india is one of the most hilarious cope I ever seen.

I am sorry about comparing you to a toddler, even toddlers cope better with losses.

If anything UAE under performed against pakistan deliberately. First match muhammad waseem ran himself out. Second match dropped several sitters. Then they gifted wickets to Abrar.

Afghanistan has pushed India very close in multiple games.
2018 Asia Cup , 2019 world cup and in a couple of T20s.

It's just that Pakistanis cannot comprehend India not losing to them even a single time while they have been getting smashed left right and centre by them. Well it's easy to understand... Pakistan are a way inferior team than India.

India are favorites.

Pakistan and SL are the dark horses.

Afghanistan generally bottle it during knockouts (2024 semi, final of AFG/PAK/UAE tri-series). So, I think they are unlikely to win it.

I hope India will not win it. Any other team but India. :inti:inti

Pak bowling has been good, just won the triseries and prepared for the conditions. They have a great chance
 
India is the favorite and after that, we have a tie between Afghanistan and Pakistan...

I don't know if anyone watchrd the match here - they were damn sharp in field and absolutely gun with the bat.

I think Sri Lanka and Bangladesh may go through.

Afghanistan generally melts down under pressure.

Also - toss becomes very important in UAE.
 
Looks like one bad day in the qualifying event cost Nepal, but they would have been better value in this tournament than UAE.

BD players play spin well.. I am sure they can beat this Afganistan side... all they need to post 150 on the noard if they bat first.

Afghans are favorite. BD have to play really well to beat this Afghan side.

They should also try to win big as NRR may become a factor (if SL end up losing to Afghanistan).

This afghan side cant win against SL.. they play spinners better than any Asian side.... so SL and BD will qualify for the super four

Yeah, I don't think they mean any malice. BD has been underachieving in Cricket arena for a very long time. I think Manjrekar and Bhogle are very balanced.

They have done well to reach super 4 which they have done previously as well.

It is indeed a not a mean achievement to be the top 4 amongst India Pak SL Afghan Oman HK UAE.

The reason "we" beat India in that tournament was largely because of our bowling efforts. Also, if you look back at that tournament almost every game was won by the side chasing.

Had Pakistan batted first against India and NZ, the outcome could've been very different.

Babar and Rizwan did bugger all in that tournament and they got found out in the Semi-Final against Australia.
