Pak and Ind have taken the most number of wickets in 5 games. Pak had better Ave and Econ while Indians have a marginally better SR. NZ seems to be the best bowling unit leading the Ave, SR and good econ
Need to keep it going for two more games and then these guys should be given some much needed rest. Especially Haris, who has bowled way too much for a 150 kph fast bowler.
We need to develop Hasnain into another finished article and have a pace battery of six world class fast bowlers. A backup spinner or two would also be much appreciated.
We have always had such good t20 bowling mA....
Hafeez, Afridi and Ajmal used to be lethal and now we have Shaheen, Rauf and Shadab who could get us a wicket at any point in the game.
There is no weak link in our bowling right now. Losing to India might have been a blessing in that sense because carrying only 3 seamers was canned immediately.
Very impressive New zealand. Atleast other teams have some weaknesses. But NZ looks amazing.
They got smashed by England. They did not look amazing by any measure.
Have to agree with Mamoon, our bowling attack bottled under pressure against Kohli, overthought unnecessarily against Zimbabwe in the first three overs by bowling full on a fast bouncy Perth Wicket and allowed the Zimbabwe players to score at 10 runs per over in the first four overs. Our bowlers were put under the pump by South Africa and Bangladesh in the first 6 overs.
Our bowlers always wilt when brutally attacked by quality T20 players like from England, Australia. Surya Kumar Yadav will make them cry with his unpredictable 360 degree stroke play.

There is a reason we continue to reach knockout phases of these tournaments, and its not due to our world beating batting line up.
Isn't this the story of Pakistan cricket for decades now. Somehow an excellent bowling attack always arises. Occasionally there is enough batting scraped together to provide the bowlers enough to work with.
Despite all the criticism, there is some quality in this batting lineup. But yes, the bowlers are almost not getting the praise enough- as a unit they have performed well.
Pakistan has the best bowling attack out of all teams in semis.
Definitely a well balanced attack. LEft arm spin, off spin, leg spin, left arm seamer, 3 right arm seamers. Good variety.
It is simple logic. If you a good bowling unit and a bowler makes a mistake he can come back. But if you have a very good batting unit and batsman makes a mistake he can't come back. That's it. So it is always way too risky to go in as a batting dependent unit. It works only when you play on absolute roads like they did in 2019 world cup.
Lulz. Bad "logic".
It's exactly the same for batting too. Batsmen make mistakes and survive all the time.

Pakistan's bowling attack has been the best in the tournament but it has been vulnerable in the Powerplay.
If NZ get to bat first on a placid Sydney pitch and Finn Allen gets going, it could give NZ a significant advantage . Problem for NZ is Pakistan bowling is scary good in the middle and at the death. So they need to maximize the powerplay.
Shadab Khan. He is the difference. I think he is going under 6.
I think they need to target Naseem rather than Shaheen
I think they should look to attack everyone in the PP. So far, SCG has shown little seam or swing compared to other venues.
They can't afford to target only 1 bowler. They'll struggle against Shadab and Rauf in the middle overs.
On average, NZ were scoring 8.88 runs (177 in 20 overs) in this tournament before the semi-final. We just restricted them to 152 - 25 runs below their average.
The best bowling attack in this tournament. What a team we could be if the batsmen would pull their weight
