Why a surprise for similar educated group making slightly more? If difference is substantial then reason can be worth looking.

On other hands, what's the reason for Indian origin women making substantially more than other groups? Do they target specific profession which pays more?

If most are doctors then it makes sense. It would be interesting to have a bigger breakdown of jobs they are taking.

British Indians study more overall but when it comes to prominent roles in society whether it's politics to sport, British Pakistanis are more visible.

British Pakistanis are less likely to be at Russell Group universities than British Indians. Hence the surprise.
