I am not mixing up anything. Your metric for resiliency is flawed.
First let me address the whole Kallis vs Ben Stokes thing, Kallis is one of the best test players of all time, he's literally rescued SA from unbelievable positions and has converted defeats into wins, anyone who believes that Ben stokes is more resilient has lost their marbles.
Stokes has 2 defining moments throughout his career. Beating PK and NZ but both innings came with sheer amounts of luck, NZ and Pak botching it as well. It was a terrific innings, but no one would seriously proclaim a medicore test cricketer and a decent odi cricketer with 2 ATG knocks as more resilient then a test match player who literally has had to bat for days in tough conditons and many times facing difficult crises men situations.
Rizwan isn't more resilient by any means. His best innings are bashing minnow bowling which he does rarely with India 2021 being the only exception.
Sri lanka, south Africa bowling was beyond rubbish so much so that Abdullah himself smacked 111 against them and we all know how crap Abdullah is as a batsmen.
Seriously you're telling me that Rizwan who
A) Scores 16 of 26 in a PP
B) 44 of 43 in PSL where he desperately tried to outdo Saud as the worst psl innings ever
C) his gand in Asia cup 2022 final alongside Chacha
D) His recent game in t20 which was so comically bad,
@daytrader had to divert the topic and present a 36 of 18 metric to accommodate
E) as well as his horrible captaincy record where he's botched everything
Is more resilient then Babar Azam who actually once upon a time use to face pressure situations and come out on top?
I'm not a fan of babar, infact from 2022 onwards, he should have been dropped and honestly he's basically Rizwan 2.0 except he's not ugly as a batter.
But from 2016-2021 he played tough innings.
In 2016 he literally had to deal with the pressure of Pakistan not even qualifying for CT. Then in 2017 he had to face 2 tough situations where Pakistan could have been knocked out of CT.
Obviously fakhar did better but babar did well.
Then he had to face a tough situation of keeping Pakistan in the tournament vs NZ. However yes, Sadly that went in vain as India lost to England thereby killing Pakistan's chances.
All these are pressure situations of which rizzu has faced a similar amount yet given us a 16 of 26 tofa.
