Just who is Pakistan's best batsman at the moment, and I stress the words "at the moment". Please don't argue with past records or performances.

My question is, at this point in time, who is Pakistan's best batsman in their test team. Who is the best taking all conditions (spin, seam, swing, pace and bounce) and factors (technique, temperament, ability, shot array) into consideration.

Rank them accordingly.

At the moment actually changes too quickly.

2 months back I called Rahane as best test batter in the world. But now clearly Kohli, Root and Smith are all well ahead.Doubt people might say Rahane as 2nd best test bat for India at current moment.

As for the thread, I think it has to be Azhar although it may change quite often.

Younis is as usual hoping but is unpredictable and can turn the game.Misbah is good in its rescual mode.Shafiq we all know has got talent and has the best game to survive in Australian conditions. Sami and Babar are going alright too.

So, its Azhar at the moment.
