Considering still Sharjeel is available, I'll pick
Test: Azhar, Tamim
ODI: Dhawan, Tamim
T20: Sharjeel, Dickwala
It's dickwella bro not dickwala![]()
Don'r put arguments from personal agenda - we are talking about recent form (otherwise Azhar doesn't come even consideration). And, if you bring historical record - Tamim was one of Wisden cricketer of the year for his 2010 tour.
Impact is a confusing word, because it's associated with teams that one is representing. Or other way you can check, what happens to Azhar's big innings impact in PAK 's result for Tests outside UAE.
i was referring to odi record for tamim and he is averaging in 30 which is not good enough consider to
dhawan and rohit sharma who are averaging in high 40s and have better record
The impact which i was mentioning is tamim strike rate is 75+ and if you have to be the best it has to
be 85+ which is not and dhawan and rohit have
so you are now comparing azhar test record to odi hmm great
keep it short thanks

before you attack me tamim averaging in 48 from last four years and strike rate is 78 so it is where
he fall behind rohit and dhawan who are big events epic openers
Yes, my mistake - I have generalized almost 50% of world's population .............
What makes you think I started rating him after this match?
His stats is 54/80 from WC 2015 - probably best in Asia, with 4 or 5 hundreds. I am not sure how many Indians will pick Rohit over Tamim - therefore I do have a reason ..........
Except delusional Bangla fans, no one would pick Tamim over Rohit, let alone Indians.. Are you even serious? How come Tamim is better than Rohit, who averages 50+ as opener with 100s everywhere. Sorry, Tamim can't hold a candle to Rohit.

Tamim has performed brilliantly in ODIs recently. On the other hand, Rohit has been too slow, impactless, and FTB recently. If both keep batting like that for another year, Tamim will surpass Rohit.
Rohit is moderately better ODI batsman whilst Tamim is a much better test batsman.
Also lately Tamim averages 59 in ODIs.

Still Rohit averages more than Tamim and has a much better strike rate in whatever period. It's Tamim who has been impactless. The success Bangladesh had against India, South Arica, Pakistan at home was due to the performances of Sarkar, Fizz, Taskin. Tamim was nowhere to be seen. His runs, like in CT, have come in losses. And when his team needed him to keep continuing his form, he went into hiding today. So what impact you are talking about? Fail\
And how many matches have India won due to Rohit's batting recently?
Hope it helps ............

Some people have Farkhar, Junaid in their fantasy teams. Couldn't care less about that. Stats, talent, clean striking, handling pressure, in every aspect Rohit is way way ahead of Tamim.

Tamim is a quality batsman. If only he played for non minnows. Though would pick neither Rohit NoR Tamim.
ODIs : Dhawan
Tests: Rahul (Based on early indications)
T20s : Lmao. Anyone can.![]()

Whoever picked Tamim over Rohit must not be having even an ounce of knowledge on cricket. Most of them were Pakistani fans, who are notoriously famous for having a short memory. If there was a thread today, I'd not be surprised if they pick Farkhar ahead of every other opener in the world. Couldn't care less. You just can't justify of Tamim being better than Rohit. As I posted, in every aspect of the game in ODIs, Rohit is way ahead. In tests, it's a different topic altogether.

I can see who don't have ounce of cricket knowledge
What I understand from your post is you have cricket knowledge (lots of ounces) & almost 95% posters in that link from IND, PAK, BD & other countries has delusion (lots of ounces) ................
Not the most consistent yet one of the most effective player in the world.
Far far better than Rohit as per the logics of armchair PP experts.

he fall behind rohit and dhawan who are more dangerous than him mainly in icc events
this is where tamim annoy me what a miss when your team needed you the most
dhawan for sure
he is unstoppable yet another hundred in odis
