We have the energetic and in-form Mohammad Rizwan at Multan Sultans.

There is the all-rounder who doesn't mind taking on a challenge, Shadab Khan at Islamabad United.

Imad Wasim the very useful left-arm spinner and lower-order batsman who is the skipper at Karachi Kings.

Sohail Akhtar who has been given the responsibility at Lahore Qalandars.

The experienced Wahab Riaz has been given the job at Peshawar Zalmi.

Former Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed is the leader at Quetta Gladiators.

Who in your opinion is the best skipper?

In terms of ability Rizwan, followed up by Imad and then Shadab. But as a captain it has to be Imad Wasim, always knows what he is doing and seems to rescue Karachi under pressure every now and then

Can babar Azam ask for a trade? Or is there a way he can get out of KK on his own without KK agreeing to it

Cause it's embarrassing if 3-format captain of PCT isn't captaing in PSL

The field setting to get rid of Azam Khan was very well thought out and you can tell Imad really is a top thinker.

Imad for me.

Wouldn't say the candidates are too strong, but Imad does have the PSL resume behind him

This Multan choking with the ball does not reflect kindly on the captain I'm afraid

Well, where does Sarfaraz rank after this :inti

Imad is the only one stands out .

Wahab and Rizwan are OK

Sarfraz , Shadab and "that guy" captaining Lahore are poor leaders.

Too early in the tournament for this poll, but I still feel Sarfaraz is the best skipper in the country. He is a fighter.

Shadab's Captaincy PSL 6

I am surprised with what Shadab did. Ok last match he bowled Zafar Gohar only 2 overs. Today, Zafar was the only bwoler who troubled Sharjeel. He had his catch dropped by Alex Hales that went for a six than.

Shadab not ended up replacing him with Iftikhar and Hussain Talat who ended up bowling two no balls.

Shadab gave the alst over to Hussain Talat

This guy is a lunatic

Who would you have brought on? Zafar or Gregory? He didn't have much of a choice given the fact he was smacked around.

He should had bowled Zafar Gohar in the same spell. It was a dumb move not to bowl him out.

In this situation, offcourse Lewis Greg should had been given the over.

Shadabs captaincy as not been impressive at all. He has been fortunate that our batting has saved the day. This squad should be getting to the final. Serious questions need to be asked if we don’t get to the final this year.

He most likely didnt give it to Zafar; his competitor for the spinner's role because then it would have given the latter an opportunity to prove that he is a better bowler than Shadab.

I really fear that this isn't true. Because if it is, than that shows the lack of leadership skills in this guys to be impartial.

Zafar keeps getting 2 overs each now and its ridiculous

There appears to be no other reason why Zafar doesn't play a more instrumental role in the team's gameplans then.

He is 4 times the bowler Iftikhar and Talat are. I cant understand how Shadab preferred them over him.

He's been fast-tracked to the role of skipper and I think it's all happened a bit too quickly.

So we wont see more than 2 overs from gohar becouse hes a competitor

Yes shadab made many mistakes in bowling changes but he must be given credit for promoting fahim up the order. Also he recognises that he must perform in batting and bowling as he stated that it wasn't good enough.

Sarfaraz and Imad not looking too good at the moment in my view

Imad scared to bowl himself due to pressure? Should have taken the bull by the horn

As soon as the wicket of Hafeez was taken, Imad sat back and let Lahore cruise back into the game. No attacking bowling changes, no urgency to break the partnership, just invited Lahore to get back into it. Weak captaincy in my opinion

Mohammad Amir bowled the 1st and 3rd over of the match and then wasn't brought back until the 17th over of the Qalandars innings when Dunk and Fakhar had already added 111 runs

If there was a definition of a rellu katta player imad wasim would be in pole position

Absolutely criminal. Either complacency or pure incompetence

Ilyas 2 overs 25
Maqsood 3 overs 34
Christian 3.2 overs 339

Yet no sign of the skipper with the ball.

His reply to this question:

"There were left-handers batting so we thought Nabi should bowl four overs; It wasn't doing that much and I thought we had enough bowlers to cope with it but unfortunately that was not the case"

Yes, it was a bad day for Imad, but others are not so good either, he is still the best among no so goods. Or, he is the least worst . Sarfraz and Shadab are the worst.

Promoting faheem was one of the many Mistakes he committed .

Shahdab is the only captain who is willing to take chances and thinking outside the box at all times. He’s been the most aggressive and innovative captain but his own poor form is not doing justic to his captaincy.

Besides Shadab, Rizwan is going pretty good in leading his side. Rest are just busy getting thorough the 20 overs. Imad Wasim is one captain, who is busy protecting his position and stats at all time.

11 matches and no skipper has defended a total. Nothing special about anyone's captaincy.

Shadab the best captain so far for me. Took a game defending 120 on a 200 pitch to the very end. That is elite.

Imad Wasim is the most selfish captain....deliberately benching players who can be his potential competitors

Promoting faheem was one of the many Mistakes he committed .

Shadab played a crucial innings he carried on the momentum in that game if Iftikhar or talat came in they would have let the momentum go so i dont no what your on about

Imad is one of the two worst captains in this psl always goes for the safe option than taking risks.his job is only to captain and he cant hardly do that

Bad you mean shocking ?

Seems Sarfaraz improving quickly - but Rizwan for me is just amazing

Rizwan is a good captain.Sarfraz could have been but he is too volatile. His antics on the field doesn’t help his bowlers or his team.He gets too worked up and loses the plot.He must control his emotions and concentrate on the game.

Whilst Rizwan has led well, worth noting his team has only won 1 match at PSL6.

Don't really think any of them are that special. Imad is the reigning champion's captain though, so that tips my vote in his favour.

The range of captains leading the PSL franchises underscores the dearth of credible leaders in domestic cricket. Utter shambles if these are the 6 best captains in the country. The PCB should have demanded that Babar Azam leads one of the franchises to gain experience.

Very true -

Shadab Khan does not look like a captain to me - seems to be someone who is learning on the job which cannot be right!

Shadab proving to be quite astute as captain - Imad not so much as we saw last night.

Sohail akhtar is inexperienced.
The guy starts by attacking with all his bowlrts. He usses up faulker and other upfront with the hopes that rashid khan will control it. If rashid khan gets attacked he doesnt have a plan b.

Shadab has improved. He learned from his mistakes. After the first lahore game, he started to give overs to iftikhar, making sure that by the end of 17th overs, his team has options to choose from

'A true captain is one who's team wins and whose deeds go unnoticed' said a wise man. Shadab Khan bats low and doesnt get a hit and barely completely 4 overs but the team wins. Mark of a true captain :D :D

I would say Rizwan still leading this poll.

Wahab Riaz has been doing quite well. Although his bowling remains erratic as ever.

MS under Rizwan also seems to be gelling quite well.

Like how he is leading the side - players seem to respect him a lot

Wahab probably doesn't get the credit he deserves, but he's done a pretty good job.

Clear leader at the moment - Rizwan with 42% of the vote.

Wahab Riaz by far the best skipper. The way he has used his bowlers has been very wonderful. He has been leading the team from the front.
