Who is the worst foreign player in PSL 5?

I am split between Sammy, Ronchi and LQ foreign players except for Lynn. I think Sammy has been spoiling the balance of Zalmi team. I hope when Pollard comes in, he can replace him as captain.

Dane Villas is another pathetic selection. Seeing Chadwick Walton in any teams line up is frustrating.

That would mean fewer sponsors like BBL and Mzansi. They need to select better players.

They should make it optional and not required. Maybe 3 min and 4 max foreign players.
That will give flexibility.

Also need to have 2 Pakistani batsman in top 5 as a requirement, that’s a must.

Same with one spinner.

Need to have quota system for the weaknesses at the international team. We are strong in fast bowling so that’s taken care off, wicket keeping is fine also. Bowling AR and spin and batting needs help. So team selection. And policy needs to be based on fulfilling this need.

That's the rule already but it's not stopping trash international players from being picked.

I was talking about 3 min foreign players rule but the problem is that the squad strength is too low. There . should be at least 25 players selected in a squad.

Depends how you measure it.

In terms of top 6 batsmen that have played at least 3 innings so far, Dane Vilas, Tom Banton and Colin Munro have the lowest batting averages.

In terms of lowest strike rates, it's Vilas, Liam Dawson, and surprisingly Jason Roy.

He’s not the worst but I don’t enjoy watching Chris Jordan bowl. The guy is an expert breaking good run flowing partnerships. I’ve seen plenty of upcoming Pakistani batsmen just folding to him

Let me fix it for you:

A 23-year-old with a batting average of 26 and strike-rate of 156 – who isn't playing because IU can only play four overseas players – is the worst overseas player in PSL, ahead of players such as Vilas, Walton, and Dunk (who all average around the same as Salt, but whose strike-rates are 30 lower), all because Salt appreciated the quality of bowling in the PSL.

Meanwhile, coming back to reality: Salt is on the bench because IU's overseas players are all well-known names in T20s, not because he's rubbish. Ronchi, Munro, Malan, Ingram, and Steyn are all experienced and established names on the T20 circuit.

They are not bad players for 20 20 , its just that they are past there date , they are simply not good enough , need to hang up their boots.
