Who should be blamed for Umar Akmal's poor score?

UA is inconsistent as ever.

I agree with Mamoon that opening should be the last roll of the dice for him - if he clicks for a few games then good but otherwise should be sent back to domestic for a very long time (probably forever).

Hopefully Mickey can get the best out of him.

Who to blame now in the Pakistan Cup?

As Markhor said he IS the team management!

what logic is this?

he failed in every other position so that is a reason to give him more chances?
you cant keep playing him everyday in the hope he'll come off sometime

I agree but I want to give him more final chance so that he himself runs out of excuses.

It really is now or never for him - hopefully he can slog his way to a few runs during the PP overs and be somewhat useful for our cause.

I have long given up on him being a great or even a decent player - he will forever remain average.

As long as fans are happy with his quick 30s and 40s once in 5 matches he will play. He is the present day afridi, at least he was fit and can help with his bowling.

Akmal fans logic:

Akmal failed at every position imaginable but instead of dropping him lets push him to the opening position where he has never played before

Mickey Arthur said one bad word to Umar :zoni
