Since Ajmal's action wasn't correct, Yasir.
Ajmal had better control and variations. Yasir made it happen with just his stock delivery and arm ball.

Ajmal in his final series was decoded pretty well by SL batters. Yasir did quite well against them. Really hated Sanga scoring centuries for fun against us.

Yasir Shah offcourse. But he dint live up to his potential.

Make age and weight issues. And later his career came to an end when he was found out to be a pedophile.

I still remember thay test series in england where he took a 10fer at lords. Back than our spinners had alot of respect in england, so when he went there Shane Warne was there and he was going on about how good this guy cna become and all that
His counterpart, Adil Rashid was just being ignored, even though Sky had bought both Shah and Rashid out with Warne and he just ignored Rashid there.

Turns out, Rashid had a better career overall.

Ajmal used to chuck. Offcourse if you will chuck you will have an advantage. People like Ajmal caused the downfall of the careers of alot of leg spinners

People choosing ajmal over Shah, need to understand that those stats for a leggie in test are not that bad.

Offxourse someone who chucks will have better stats due to the advantage he holds.

Thus the comparison will go against him. A better comparison would be Danish Kaneria, who has the record of being the higest wixket taker in pakistan in test (spin)

Ajmal was a better LOI bowler I think. Yasir never really made it in LOI but Yasir certainly has a better Test record than Ajmal. So it comes to tests only, Yasir can make it into my 11.

He played before the rule was imposed.
The 15 degree rule was imposed in 2004. Ajmal's peak was 2012-2014.

Ajmal knew full well he was cheating which is why he wore full sleeves and didnt contest or question icc decision.

Harbajan was also a chucker who did the same thing but if I say why he wasn't exposed every indian on this forumn will come at me like its the macy's parade.

Ajmal was a chucker who shouldn’t have played international cricket in the first place. He ruined the careers of many spinners in Pakistan including Yasir who lost 4-5 years because of him, while the likes of Zulfiqar Babar lost pretty much their entire careers.

It is a disgrace that ICC allowed him to play for 6 years before taking action against him. You have to thank Vaughan for kicking up a storm on social media and putting pressure on ICC when Ajmal was blatantly hurling the ball when he played County in summer of 2014.
