Batting not our forte but we have to do with what we have!

So in 2018, who was the best Test batsman for Pakistan?

Not the year for big performances but we had some good ones in the middle of not so good team performances.

Vote away....

is there even any debate here, has to be babar. shafiq and azhar should hang their heads in shame given they were meant to take the batting forward post misyou and both haris and babar have outperformed them.

Harris Death eaters reality check. Average below 40 for the prodigal son!

Harris and Azhar Ali's strike rates appalling

that appalling strike rate is primarily due to one innings, which came in a test pak won comfortably where the opposition was bundled out for 90 in the first innings. his odi performances show he has the ability to up the s/r when needed.

only concern with him is he finds lazy ways to get out after getting in quite often.

The guy with one of the best test averages this year who people wanted to be dropped from the test team before the year even started. The guy who people called a coward and spineless failure of a batsman after he got "run out" against Australia. The everyone said will fail in tests because his FC average is low. The guy who was called selfish because he got stuck on 99 despite the gact that he had played a brisk innings over all.

Babar Azam has come of age this year.

The sainted seniors have been a big letdown, failing to take responsibility at crucial moments time and again. Those numbers for Shafiq and Sarfraz are especially damning.

Meant to vote for Babar but accidentally vote for Haris.

Glad to see Babar finally make it in Test cricket.

Babar Azam was in bad form at the start of our UAE home series but since he finally found some form he has been superb. He was also ok in UK too, playing a good innings at Lords before that injury, my vote went to him, I didn't realize how bad our batting had been this year.

Easily Babar Azam what a year in the red ball format it has been for him he has really turned it around as all of us expected him too.

Azhar Ali should have been that but in terms of spark it has to be Babar
