Tendulkar stroke's in the 'V' reached perfection of region sof the divine.

Gavaskar was an epitome of technical correctness displaying concentration of a monk meditating.Never failed to punish the bad ball.

Sobers even when pulversing opponents displayed great technical skill with a great range of strokes.


Greg Chappell was classical elegance and correctness personified.

Bradman was unorthodox but still had phenomenal mastery unequalled till today.


Dravid was a boulder against the most lethal bowling.

Pollock held a bat like a wand.

Border was more resolute than any left-hander ever.

Steve Waugh was a master on bad wickets .

Jacques Kallis was the most solid batsmen of all the great all-rounders to have played the game.



Lara,Weekes,Viv Richards,Ponting,Hammond miss out here as although they could have been a 2nd to Bradman overall ,were not technically as correct or refined as the likes of Hutton,Tendulkar,Barry,Dravid,Gavaskar,Sobers etc.

Because you who rate a test series victory greater than winning a world cup think so.
Tendulkar was one of the most if not the most technically correct players of all time. No genuine weakness against any type of bowling or conditions and repeating those performances can not be given by a player without a great technique.
His shots were most orthodox ones and as technically correct as anyine else.
