Do we have indication who our specialist superover players are going to be should one of our games end in a draw?

Shaheen or Haris for those crucial six balls?

What about the batsmen? Asif would surely have to be one but who else?

Pretty sure Saqi & Moyo don’t know what a super over is.. never mind planning for it.

Theyr still stuck in “there days” 90s cricket hit the ball along the ground & bowl 5th stump line.

Seriously good questions. I would think Asif and Fakhar for batting, Haris for bowling

Usually, the best batsman of the day gets a go in the super over but yes, Asif will almost certainly be one of the batters.

I'd take Haris over Shaheen as well. Those slower balls are deadly.

Batting Haider, Asif, Nawaz.

Bowling depends on who is having the better game between Shaheen and Rauf.

Rauf will take the Super Over.

Why can't Babar take the super over. Contrary to popular opinion, Babar has a 360 degree arc. He just chooses to build an innings.

He has more ability than anyone of them.

Anyone suggesting Shaheen over Rauf for the super over doesnt know what he is talking about.

In batting it has to be Babar, Haider and Nawaz.

Agreed. Babar and Asif most likely

My pick would be Rauf and Asif.

Rauf doesn’t have the courage to bowl fast to batsmen. He backs his pace against the tail only.

Batsmen struggle against him because they have a hard time believing that Rauf doesn’t back his pace against them.

They get deceived by his cutters because they pull the trigger early.

Shaheen is a proper fast bowler who backs his pace, which is why there is a greater chance of him getting hit.

Lool that's the point of a slower ball :yk

To deceive and make the batsman pull trigger early

Agree here - I’d trust Babar more than Asif any day of the week. Even a Super Over

If Babar has played a good innings in the match, he should definitely be one of them. However, as captain, there will be huge backlash if he fails.

However, it's pretty clear to everyone that Babar isn't someone who can slog from ball one. He's a proper batsman who takes a few deliveries to get set.

Imagine calling someone a coward for bowling slower balls. :))

I'm sure Shaheen is a coward too for bowling wide yorkers that the batsmen can only squeeze for a single instead of being a mard and bowling 145 kph deliveries in the slot.

What a twisted logic mate , hhh , you need help.

Do tell us do you actually believe what you post or just post and laugh alone thinking that you have led us to believe your nonsense?

What a bizzare post

Asif, nawaz and fakhar. And haris any day over shaheen in super over as shaheen not a good option to contain the runrate.

The whole point of bowling in t20s is to take wickets and keep the economy down, if he is doing that better than Shaheen then there shouldn't be a problem.

Rauf is our best death bowler, he would take it.

Nawaz has probably hit his way into the batting 3 recently.

Over the years what I have learned about super overs is that, the side that chooses its batters based on the performance of that day does well.

So for example, if babar Azam and fakher are the highest scorer of that match, you send them for the super over. The reason being they already scored runs and have understood the pitch and bowlers.

If you decide to go with a hitter who didn't perform in the match, he is most likely gonna replicate the same bad performance in the super over.

If asif ali smacked sixes that day during the full match than sure go with him. But you can't be premeditated when choosing your batters.

As for bowler, depends upon conditions. I would go with Harris Rauf but as Australian pitches are huge I wouldn't mind shadab having a go.

I once saw Raza hassan bowl a super over

Form and performance matters in both cases. If Shaheen, for example, got a four wicket haul with an economy under 7, you can trust him to do a good job in the superover too.

I agree.
Shaheen has been remarkably consistent for us and there are days when he looks so completely in his own league that it would be hard for a captain to go with anyone else. It's Shaheen and his god gifted talent we are talking about after all
