With PSL 10 around the corner, the stage is set for captains to lead their teams to glory. From seasoned leaders like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan to international stars like David Warner, each skipper brings unique skills and strategies to the table.

Who do you think will rise above the rest and claim the title of the best captain this season?

Why would it be anyone other then David Warner? And lol at Saud being the best. Ik @Rana Doesn't believe saud is the best captain, just a good batsmen who can do an okay job leading his side.

But no way he believes saud > Warner as captain
What about Shadab? He made his team the champ last year... Defending champions his year... He can repeat winning the title again this year.. NO???

Shadab after Warner is the best captains this PSL

Shadab's team is doing well. Not because Shadab is doing any wonders here, but because he has got a wonderful unit TBH.

While I understand that League cricket is seprate from International, i believe that at the very least it can be a good benchmark to nuture Pakistan's t20 talent.

After all youngsters get to network with foreign international players who can take them under their wing.

The problem with PSL however is that a vast majority is being captained by selfish tried and tested failures at International level.

For example the 2 worst teams of PSL this year happen to be Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi, who are still captained by Babar and Rizwan.

Why? Babar doesn't captain in international cricket anymore and was a failure at that level? Same case with Rizwan who was axed from the t20 side recently? What's the point of handing them captaincy especially when they have proven that they don't give a damn about their team and only wish to open for the sake of opening despite not being T20 material?

Similarly it doesn't make much sense to have Saud Shakeel captain Quetta Gladiators when Saud isn't even in PCB's plans to represent their t20 circuit anytime soon?

The only correct decisons so far has been to continue to allow Shadab Khan to captain IU as shadab has proven himself to be a very successful PSL captain as well as IU consistently giving chances to players who PCB abandoned solely for the purpose of appeasing Babar and rizwan.

Players like Shabzada Farhan, Haider Ali are freqently given chances to represent themselves and team IU has no disappointed us so far.

The other correct decison was to appoint David Warner as captain who's transformed KK into a no nonsense side as well as making very brave decisons such as Getting rid of Shan Masood and various other KK players who simply weren't promoting the correct brand of cricket.

I propose that within the upcoming editions, PSL should have 2 foreign captains similar to David Warner and 3 local captains who are proven PSL performers. Shadab can keep his captaincy but PCB really need to consider giving Salman Ali Agha a go at captaincy followed by Saim Ayub the mantle to captain PZ.
