Who will captain Karachi Kings if they reach the final?

As we all know the captain of the KKs is Kumar Sangakara and he has already opted out of playing the final in Lahore. Of the four remaining sides two have Pakistani captains and the Zalmi captain, Darren Sammy, has agreed to travel to Pakistan. That just leaves Karachi Kings and their captain Sangakara.


The obvious choice would have been Shoaib Malik but there has been some bad-blood between the owners and Malik in the last season and I doubt they would give him the captain's armband.

Might have to give it to Imad.
 
Or we might get demolished today and not even have this problem :afridi
 
Easily Shoaib Malik, giving it to Imad Wasim and have him captaining the final would be a mistake
 
im sure we could find someone from the mohallas of lahore.


shoaib malik the obvious answer.
 
Malik has already refused to do any kind of captaincy so it should be given to Babar Azam...

1st choice is Malik, if he disagree's then, Bopara maybe.
 
As OP says of at all any feud with owners and MALIK. They would still ask him to lead the side, if he rejects the offer, would like to see who will MA and owners will turn to. It should be IMAD or BABAR. BABAR is more deserving than IMAD PSL performance wise.

If Bopara refuses then maybe Babar or Imad?

Or will it be Amir?

Ideally I want Peshawar to get through to the Final - even though I'm an ISB fan.

Sammy is willing to travel to Lahore & say what you want abut the guy, I bet you the Lahore crowd would love to see Afridi on a big stage 1 more time.

I think we won't make the final lol. But would be Malik if they somehow get there.

They seem quite committed to spare the management this particular headache by not qualifying for the final

Our own players (Hardin, Watson & co.) are ditching the team if we get to the final so what can we expect from the fans :inzi....

...just as I saw ISB lose their 9th wicket an di don't think we have to worry about what ISB team will show up in the final :(

WHEN Karachi reach the final, there is only one man deserving of the honour of leading the team out in Lahore.

Karachi has a solid bowling attack. I want them to beat Zalmi fair and square. Can't stand a rubbish team of Afridi and Hafeez
 
Felt like Malik should have been captaining at the start. This is a Pakistani tournament and the famous pakistani captains in domestic should be captaining. Malik has had an excellent record largely, sure he wasn't great last tournament, but that's just one t20 tournament. Plus he was better with the bat this time. Having Pakistanis as captains too creates greater resonance with the supporters. It's also kind of a bit silly to have a captain who won't represent the team in the final anyway.

With just 5 teams, think 1 should pretty much have a non-Pakistani captain. Not 3 out of 5.

So Bopara is definitely going to Lahore??
 
Give it to Amir or Imad. They're both good bowlers, first choice starters and look like captaincy material.

I should have gotten on board this PSL thing so I could troll my Punjabi in-laws.
 
If they play like today, then forget about the final.

IU just happened to be worse than KK today.
 
We will take care of them on Friday, but if they somehow fluke their way through, Mian is the only candidate.
 
Gotta be Malik despite his poor show last year, even though I'd be tempted to give it to Imad.
