Who's to be blamed for having only one full-time spinner for Pakistan's Test match vs Australia?

Pakistan has dominated against England on Australia in UAE because of 2 spinners on these wickets. Now we are only playing 1 full time spinners and a bunch of part timers...

Even though we have history to support the need for 2 fulltime spinners.

Who should be blamed for this mistake now? Inzi or Sarfraz?

India play three spinners because they have a strong batting and settled batting line-up that allows them the chance to play the extra spinner. Also helps that two of their front-line spinners can bat fairly well.

Mickey mainly. This is the first time I'm calling him out after 2 years of praise. He has no idea how to to play in the desert, or in Asia on a broader scale. He's applying the same Aussie dehati mentality and trying to eat soup with a knife by going with pace heavy stuff when he knows what's happened in the past and should look at our records of how we beat teams in the UAE previously.

A lot more control has been given to him compared to previous coaches because of the success he got last year, but it's kind of getting to his head.

59 wickets @ 30 is not bad especially considering pitches in QEA trophy have gotten less and less favorable for spinners over the last two seasons. However, it's also an inconclusive stat because 23 matches is a very small sample size and pitches in domestic are nothing like the pitches our players get in UAE.

Exactly 23 games is hardly a big enough sample to select someone as a full time spinner Surely there are better candidates

There are clearly better options. Bilal has been selected only because he is an offie and can bat. Zafar Gohar should have been selected.

You have Yasir,Bilal,haris,hafeez, Azhar,Asad,Babar - plenty of spin options in my opinion . I think the management were hell bent on going with an offspinner and there wasn't a specialist office better than Bilal I guess?
