England took 15 wickets in 2nd and 3rd Test against West Indies LBW. Yup, That was the mode of dismissals accounting for 37.5% West Indies batting.

I have been noticing that apart from Abbas no other Pakistani pacer is attacking the stumps enough and it's clearly reflecting in stats as well. So far in 4 innings played by English batsmen Pakistan pacers have bowled or got them Leg before only 5 times.

It clearly Proves that Pakistan bowling plan is reeking with one dimension
setup and that is to bowl 5th stump line and get the edge. It also indicates that There is an ultra defensive mindset seeped into Pakistan bowlers who are neither looking to attack the stumps or the body line bouncers.

Only Abbas seems to be attacking the off stump but he has erred in bowling Sub-continent length where balls keeps low. However in English condition you need to be 2 feet fuller and if that would have been the case his Wicket tally would have been different.

I thought, Shaheen would get many right hand batters Bowled or Leg before but he has not bowled them full enough on off stump line specially when batsmen is new at the crease.

Naseem, does not bowl too many In-dippers and even if doesn't have one
he can simply bowl a little fuller and straight on off stump and that will makehis stock away swinger much more effective.

Pakistan captain must use an extra fielder in the circle on leg side to allow bowlers to attack stumps and then those away going delivers will become even more effective. You may go for few runs but Pacers with new ball should not worry about it and look to get wickets.

The line Pakistan bowlers have bowled has been predictable and length has not been full enough. Pitches across the world have become flatter and these 7 -2 field can't be followed blindly.

This management has a "Fattu" (Meek) mentality written all over whether it's batting or bowling . This mentality is taking Pakistan Test cricket into an abyss

Waqar is to blame here. What has he been telling the pacers exactly is what I want to know? Both Naseem and Shaheen have bowled like county bowlers where they blindly bowled outside off stump, very little bouncers, Yorkers

Sadly I feel our bowlers are just not smart enough. They have no clue how to set up a batsman. You can make all the plans in the dressing room but you must have the capability to execute those plans. Our bowlers are mentally weak & get rattled easily.

Also, our bowlers were just poor. I watched the whole test yesterday & today & they couldn't land 2 deliveries in the same spot. Naseem tried a bouncer against Woakes today and it was such a poor bouncer. Overall they looked completely out of sorts.

Judging from the field placings given to the bowlers by the captain, I have every right to be suspicious about the quality of the planning done by the team management

Petty much there. You cant have two rookies in test match without being led exceptionally well or they will loae their confidence fast enough and go for defensive bowling

This pakistan Team is lead by a very meek captain's both on and off field

100 percent right. Azhar was a terrible ODI captain. The whole could see Azhar as captain is destined to be a complete failure...except Misbah.

When Wasim Waqar played so young early in their careers, they were extremely lucky to get mentorship from Imran Khan who would guide them ball by ball standing at mid off and mid on. When Shoaib played, the W's did the same thing.

In this team only Abbas can play that role but Abbas himself has been exposed as a one dimensional new ball bowler who has no answers to put the opposition under pressure when the ball gets older and the batsmen are standing outside the crease, they were content to play him out and only punishing his lose deliveries.

Asif in comparison had numerous tricks up his sleeve where he could bowl the bouncer, the yorker, move the ball both ways and keep all 6 balls on the same spot.

I am an Indian fan, i grew up admiring Pakistan bowling. Never thought i would see the day when Pak's wicket keeper will stand close to stumps for their strike bowler. This is very depressing sight for a test cricket fan like me. Can't believe i am watching a Pak bowling attack with no aggression and fire to bowl out the opposition. They had given up. They were bowling to England as if they were providing them knocking practice. It reminded me of Ashok Dinda, Vinay kumar etc. For god sake, please fire Misbah. He has damaged Pakistan cricket beyond repair.

Honestly all the signs are looking like team managements fault. We are not just getting destroyed by the opposition. Its by the mentality of management. You can bring in any captain. The team will crumble under this management. Unfortunately we will suffer this for another two years.

People get clouded by his playing career, but Waqar younis is a failure as bowling coach and this has been proven once again.

The sooner he is dispensed with the better.

Look at the line of Engish bowlers and also the length. so many deliverys on the stump
Even warne is making the same point about the line of Pakistan bowlers.

This is what the "Fattu" management has to learn

As I speak, Asad goes and the reason why poked at that delivery was because previous one
he faced came in seeding doubts. It's another thing that Anderson is on fire here and head
and shoulder above any Pak bowlers but this much is elementary as to how to bowl.

Yes because Waqar was bowling(!). You just stated you want to know what he has been teaching the bowlers but blame him before knowing the answer.

The bowlers were poor. Accept it. Mushy outright said they can't follow a plan and don't have the accuracy to do it either.

The coaching staff take some responsibility but to absolve the bowlers of any responsibility is insanity.

But as the old adage goes, you can take a horse to water...
