How can you do that? Specially when shahen has been worse than Hasan

Should have played Hasnain or stuck with Hasan in worst case scenario

I got nothing against shahen but if you are so hell bent on playing him drop wahab Riaz

I think it's good decision.

Hasnain is extremely raw and I am not sure why he was selected. Inzimam made a blunder by selecting hasnain and Malik. He is just not ready.

Shaheen is good addition, he brings extra height bowling left handed that's always a difficult task for any batsman to cope up with that.

Hasnain over Junaid may just be a case of balancing right and left arm seamers...

Yes but we have a quota in the team for ‘out of form’ or mediocre players - and dropping both Malik and Hassan Ali means you need at least one ‘out of form’ or mediocre player to keep the quota. Haris doesn’t meet the criteria as he is too consistent as a performer, so the idea
must be that Shaheen Afridi represents the mediocre players with some long hops and poor line and length.

Surely there's a ready to go right hand bowler in Pakistan?

Wasim has had such a huge impact on Pakistan cricket you can see from all these left hand bowlers they produce. He's had bigger impact than even Imran khan.

Yes, you can say that by looking at the legacy they left.. Wasim all the way

I have been banging on about this . Left armers are there for variety. Having 3 is a overkill.

We played 3 left armers against SA in the last WC win too :misbah

The Shaheen of last year and earlier this year would be a terrific addition but he should not be playing for another hammering. Hasnain should be in there and something needs to be done about Riaz, he is too expensive and not taking enough wickets.

Because they probably worried about whether hasnain may be affected by the slope, and Hasan Ali can't play after his precious two outings.
There are no other quicks in the squad.
