So i have read an blog about Pakistan water crisis and it states that people like maulona fazul rehman, mehmood achakzai and asfandyar wali khan are against the Kalabagh dam. I heard perviaz musharraf say that too that they are against it and does not want it to be build. My question to you guys who may have the answer is, why are they against it?

KP - it will make the lands infertile and sink Nowshera district, plus it will benefit Punjab.
Sindh - it will benefit Punjab.
Balochistan - they just want to make noise.

These politicians don't give a damn about Pakistan. This damn should have been built in the 80's and hence now we have a water crisis which means Pakistan will be out of it by 2025. Pathetic stuff. Just like we badly mismanaged our electricity we have mismanaged our water as well.
Did you ever bother to looks at the facts or study done by the people who know the facts. Your statements is based upon political stunts/slogans made by some proven unpatriotic politicians. KBD will benefit three provinces, Sindh to get the most. There is absolutely no risk to Nowsera. By creating a big water reservoir in a natural lake/dam, water can release in winter when there is big shortage. It would be the biggest protection against annual flood from which Sindhis are effected more than Punjab. And the cheapest source of electricity.
Think about Pakistan first, educated and patriotic people should lead and not follow the uneducated ones and certainly not the unpatriotic ones.
