Why are world powers not stepping-in to stop the Indo-Pak madness?

It's almost farcical to hear some of the statements from world leaders asking for both sides to exercise self-restraint!

Where is the shuttle diplomacy? Calls by likes of Trump etc?

Can they not see where this will head to?
 
Saner heads like Clinton and Obama are not at center of the helm anymore.

Depends, countires like UK has been exhausted since WW2, no chance of them interfering.

All of Oceania doesn't give a damn, In North America only USA is relevant, Canada and Mexico doesn't care, and atm USA is too preoccupied with Global Tariffs + Paying of their debt + Canada to really invest time and effort into this.

Their trying to pay off debt and supplying arms to India or any nation would only.increase their debt.

China at present doesn't seem to care too much primarily because in their eyes it hasn't escalated to such an extreme.

Basically other countries are too busy or just don't care hence they'll ghost.

I can't see any country directly interfering, max they'll send arms and supplies but that's about it.
 
Bharat and Pakistan have to find a solution to this problem themselves. One scenario ends with a crippled Bharat and a wiped out Pakistan.

A better one ends with establishing an international border and not interfering in each other's business.

Should be an easy choice.

World does not care much about India and Pakistan and considers them as third world. This is the truth. Amidst the battle last night, the main news in western media was new Pope swearing in ceremony. If this was a war in Europe, America or in China, world feed would be glued to it.

India must not care about what western world thinks. Economically it has no reason to, unlike Pakistan who depends on loans. Being the 4th largest economy, India does not need a dime from Amreeka or England. We are the sufferers of terrorism and we must take the matter in our hands how to eradicate it.

Sorry for multiple posts, but it's kind of like a popcorn moment for the world. They think it won't really escalate. It's also similar to the popcorn for posters on PP who think war is a joke. And almost every single one of them don't live in their home country or don't have close family that could be affected.
 
They want to sell their military toys to both Pakistan and India, which is why they have no interest in stopping the conflict between our countries. :inti

Are you naive enough to think that India is serious about eradicating terror by making a few token strikes in Pakistan? Why didn't this work last time in 2019 after Pulwama? Was Modi "just kiddin' lol" last time?
 
I do agree with you on your first sentence though Rajdeep, despite all your fawning over the western world and attempts to woo them with your "we agree with Tommy Robinson!" ingratiation, they do still see you as third world rubbish that they would rather just stayed in the background.

2) War thirstiness of Indian top brass, Pakistan agreed on Air Superiority ramp-off and no strike back, after back channel work. Still, Modi and Doval choose to target civilians using drones in the middle of cities, trying a psychological warfare tactic on civilians, putting the Pakistani military cornered and under immense pressure. From their media narrative, it looks like their biggest desire is, at the very least, one PAF kills, since neutral aviation and military circles pretty much now agree on what the scorecard is in recent times.

There has been an alarming shift in global politics since 2010 onwards. The world is now driven by alphas where the concept of might is right is as transparent as it can be.

If we look at mega world events that took place in recent history you'd realise that powerful always goes unpunished.
- USA invading Iraq on basis of lies. War crimes were committed, millions displaced, thousands dead, billions lost. Yet no US decision-maker were held for these crimes. All of these oil mongers are now retired in their own islands.
- Israels' unchecked aggression in Palestine (Gaza and West Bank).
- Saudi's Mohammad bin Salman executing Khashoggi in Turkey went unpunished
- Military dictators increasing with every passing year with blatant human rights abuses by Sisi in Egypt or junta in Myanmar.
- Increased conflicts around the world be it Russia / Ukraine, Israel's aggression, Sudan conflict, other African conflicts, etc

All of the above points out to times we currently live in. The world is governed by likes of Trump and Putin. India has observed how US has gone unchecked around the world dictating their terms and want to replicate that authority in South Asia. The only problem is that Pakistan is a nuclear state and well equipped to defend itself, in other words Pakistan is a capable state and would not fall for dictation from India.
 
World powers do not care about India anymore, they rather see India suffer at the wrath of its neighbours then beg for help. This is how you put a country in its place.

This is AAA geo politics.

India produces (as well as exports) huge amount of products whether they be vaccines, high quality low cost pharmaceuticals, some of the best in class Banking software products (Finacle, Flexcube & BaNCS), High quality low cost access to space for low to medium weight satellites, World class UPI system that makes Visa & Mastercard companies sulk in India, 2nd largest steel & aluminium producer when all that Pakistan & Britain can do is grunt like hell & spit out a few million tonnes of steel every year. With India beings the 2nd largest producer of Steel & Aluminium - it is natural that it exported more than 7 Billion USD worth of automobile exports and more than 21 Billion USD of auto components.
India's IT products & software services exports have risen to more than 280 Billion USD in the just finished financial year ending March 2025. Just to list a few Unicorn startup that make good amount of profits, i can indicate Zetwerk, Uniphore, Mu sigma, Zerodha, Postman, Molbio diagnostics & etc. Zoho is not exactly a start-up but is the biggest of Indian software product company following a very Indian Philosophy based business operations and minting nearly a billion USD in profit.
Due to time paucity - i have not included our chemical product exports, textile exports, electronic hardware exports, refined oil product exports, gem & jewellery exports and etc - each of which must be in double digit billions of dollars. No wonder India exported more than 800 Billion USD in FY 2024-2025.

Again never ever slyly or mistakenly compare India with Pakistan when it comes to being a nation that is value for the world.

If you have ever read about how Pakistan obtained nukes, then you would know the kind of massive effort that it involved to make sure America and co. didn't find out about the nuclear program

The people of Pakistan and the army must protect that asset at all costs

When Israel was attacked almost all western leaders supported but india isnt getting anything. West will make financial deals with India but will always see indians and the region as brown folk with strange traditions. India is better off accepting this and work towards good relations with its neighbours.

You would like to think Pakistan leadership might have worked this out before now. I mean India for all I criticise them realised this a long time ago. Luckily for us they are following the Pakistan model of putting too much decision making in the hands of unqualified maulvis/yogis in the current era.

Economic output is a quantity, while value is a quality.

In India where public discourse—particularly from the media, business and politicians—is seemingly so dominated by values of wealth, power and public image, it is so easy to overestimate the importance that most people place on these values. Desis lack the understanding of the importance that most people from developed countries place on benevolence and universalism values.

Even in economic numbers, Thailand and Vietnam combined at just 170 million population exported more than 700 Billion USD in FY 2024-2025.

Let's steer back to value.

India has actually regressed. Tribalism and inward-looking tendencies among Indians are at an all time high.

Yes, we often find ourselves caught up in mudslinging with Indians online, as such platforms tend to attract some odd characters. But I believe many of us, deep down, genuinely appreciated the positive steps India had taken in the right direction. But as you rightly pointed out looks like a big societal shift is happening there.
 
‘Deep concern’: China offers help to resolve India-Pakistan conflict

Beijing “is closely monitoring the current situation between India and Pakistan”, China’s Foreign Ministry says in a statement, while cautioning against taking actions that could further escalate the tensions.

China urged both countries to prioritise “peace and stability” and observe calm and restraint, and return to the path of resolving issues through peaceful political means.

The ministry added that China remains willing to continue playing a constructive role to resolve the matter.

China is a key player in the region, but is seen as closer to Pakistan, considering its own border tensions with India.

I may be wrong but the Ghazwae Hind hadith is Nisai. So we can't really say if it is sahih or not.
Regarding Mahdi, yes those are authentic but they are very different. And Khorasan is more of the region of Afghanistan-Iran-Pakistan than India. it's just that the style of ghazwa e hind just doesn't seem to be like the sahih ahadith. I may be wrong though.

In a post on his Truth Social site, US President Donald Trump says India and Pakistan have agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire”.

There was no immediate comment from India or Pakistan.

Something doesn't feel right about this ceasefire, especially how quickly it came. Sadly lots of innocent PKs have lost their lives and that can't be undone
 
Pakistan’s former National Security Adviser Moeed Yusuf has welcomed the ceasefire, calling it a “big relief” for a region of nearly two billion people.

“I think this should be a lesson to everybody involved. A war under nuclear umbrella, any kind of war, ultimately will lead you to depend on good fortune than strategy to extract yourself from being sucked into a catastrophic end,” Yusuf told Al Jazeera.

He said the only way to truly avoid escalation in a nuclear environment is to “prevent crises rather than manage them”, adding that prevention of crises requires dispute resolution.

For third parties, such as the US, coming in to deal with the situation is not a new thing, he said. But once the crisis is managed, everybody goes on their “merry ways and forgets the fact that the reasons for crisis still exist,” he added.

“It is critical that third parties push Pakistan and India to sit down and resolve, or at least work towards resolving their differences and disputes over time, so that, at the very least, they do not [end] up in a crisis every so often.”

I do not think any of the chains of that hadeeth is authentic , though it is found in more than a book.

Yes , Khoristan is not directly India But if an army goes from Afghanistan area and conquers Aqsa , there is bound to be an alteration with India as well. Imam Mahdi army will be opposed by a huge army , which according to my limited knowledge is NATO , India will also be part of that.
 
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that not only did the international community stand with Pakistan amid tensions with India, but it even praised our stance throughout the crisis.

Speaking to Geo News, the minister noted that over the last several days, some countries demonstrated a clear tilt towards Pakistan.

“Turkiye, Azerbaijan and China are on our side, while Saudi Arabia and the UAE tilted towards us. It was muted, but in our communications, they were sympathetic to Pakistan,” he said.

“Nobody openly supported India. The main reason is that Modi could not substantiate his story,” Asif explained. “Every time we demanded evidence and to investigate the incident, the [Indian] narrative was wrecked and gave us a major diplomatic advantage.”

Asif said that nobody questioned Pakistan’s credibility, while that of India was brought into question.

“Their military assessment was proven incorrect; Pakistan’s assessment was far stronger and our forces were better equipped,” the defence minister added. “Diplomatically, they (India) expected that the world would stand with them and press Pakistan, but that did not happen at any stage.

“As an eyewitness, I can tell you that the international community praised our narrative because we demanded an investigation and that India had not presented any evidence for two weeks,” Asif said.





Khawaja uncle made complete sense but he made a major gaffe and didn't include Panama, Guyuna and Disgraced ex PM Rishi Sunak in the list of those that backed India. Apologies from me on behalf of the FM especially to @Bhaijaan
