When he first came he talked a lot about adopting professional standards of fitness and nutrition in the Pakistani team and that no player will be allowed to play for the team not meeting those standards?
He had even sent Umar Akmal back home for failing a fitness test. But look at our captain with a chubby face gut, look at Haris Sohail. Our Pakistani players in general looked unathletic compared to the Indian players in the field. What made Mickey Arthur compromise? Or was the fitness test just an excuse to send Umar Akmal back home at the time and that he is willing to bend the rules for the players he likes?
