Why did the Brian Lara-era West Indies fail to win so often?

All this hogwash aside, Mgrath owned Lara in tests without a shadow of doubt. He was always on the backfoot and in 2 minds which led to him being dismissed so often by Mcgrath. Thats why Mcgrath always came up on top on most occasions here. This is the reason why Mcgrath used to rate SRT as the best and toughest batsmen he bowled to prior to the SRT getting injured from tennis elbow, as Mcgrath had to work real hard for SRTs wicket, it wasn't a charity give away like a Lara wicket.

in ODIs it makes more sense as Mcgrath did have more success against SRT than Lara.

Makes no sense to argue when a bowler has owned a batsmen constantly so many times with ease which included an epic hatrick.

It seems like it helps you sleep better at night knowing your post was the last one on thread and the other person gave up on wasting a breath.

In that case I shall let you be with your delusions.

If it makes you feel better for bringing SRT into this thread that had nothing to do with him but in the end had no option but to retreat, I will take it as a honorable defeat from you. Otherwise night is still young as far as I am concerned...

Lol spoken like true pat

If Lara is the second of the three wickets in a hattrick of Macgrath, then his batting average against Mcgrath is a big ZERO in that innings. And Lata became the 300th test wicket of Mcgrath as well. It is the most epic ownage of Lara that the world has ever seen.

A lot of rubbish has been removed from this thread. The culprits know who they are...

Now can we get back on track with THE ACTUAL TOPIC OF THIS THREAD?
