Could have easily said to Fakhar, we're gonna rest you and give Masood 2 Odis.

This is the beauty of Pakistan cricket, because as long as Shan Masood was mediocre and not worthy of a place in the team, the selectors and team management would do everything to get him included somehow — and after all Shan’s hard work and personally hired coaching and the guy actually looked like Pakistan’s best batsman on this tour, he can’t make it into the One day team no matter what.

Fakhar should play every ODI game of Pakistan. His game is well suited for modern ODI game.

The problem is Imam. His game is not suited for modern ODI cricket and he will continue to cost Pakistan ODI games if he plays. He should be replaced by Shan.

Even seasoned batsmen have struggled in SAF. The guy only in his last ODI series v NZ scored two vital fifties yet a few failures in this SAF series and people want him axed.

You can check shan masood strike rate in scoring he has done in last year its over 100. He scored 160 in one game against New Zealand A or England lions strike rate was 125 i think and it was not that he hit some boundaries at last no he was over 100 from ball 1 to end

What has Fakhar done wrong in odis?

He was our leading run scorer in the NZ series.

Hafeez and Malik can divide 5 overs each. Hafeez remodeled his action and good to tighten the run rate and scoring shots, like Imad. That way we are not wasting a player for overs, which can be bowled by Hafeez+shoaib

hasan can nip the ball back in to the right hander, i wouldn't him and shaheen with the new ball and amir first change
