Story of this team for last 5-7 years.

Play all the known TTFs (Hafeez, Shehzad, Azhar, Wahab, Akmal) in first match because you need experience and new players cannot be tried in the very first match of series.

Play new players in last match of series where they have just one match to perform and its do or die situation for them.

Result: new players fail to perform in their only match and everyone in PCB, Selectors and Media keep on their mantra of see, there's no talent in Pakistan.

And TTFs keep on getting selected.

As i have said so many times, what if the current domestic lot aren't any good? Can we do any worse ?

Pak fans have Stockholm syndrome I swear
Even after today many will back Shezhad over Fahkar

so losers and mental midgets like shezad, azhar, hafeez and co can tell the young guys how it feels to lose vs india

Do we use our anger of our continous failures over India and opt to sack the likes of Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Shehzad, Wahab and other players or do we keep a calm, cool head and just accept that we had a bad day, winning and loosing happens and that we have to back our experienced lot and that it would be unwise to have a brand new playing 11?

I can bet every cent on it that even after this shambolic performance, the 4 major culprits (Wahab, Imad, Hafeez, Shehzad) shall not be changed for match against SA. Haris, Fakhar & Faheem may as well just enjoy cool weather of UK till their chance in dead rubber.

We don't. This is what me, Flat_Track_Bully and fazleefridi have been saying for a while now.

If you don't win with experience, what do you have to lose by playing an inexperienced team??

Not sure when the great team management will realize this. Hafeez... really? Never have I seen a more worthless player.

I know we have, Hafeez and Shehzad are mental midgets. We can't go forward until we get rid of them.

Everyone says look at Hafeez what great form he is in bla bla. The guy is a minnow basher who can only perform in pointless bilaterals in empty grounds. Put him in a tournament match and watch him crumble every damn time.

Pakistan won the tournament thanks to a captain playing his first tournament, a guy making his debut, a bowler who burst onto the scene only a year ago and a bunch of other lads who just came into the side recently (Shadab/Imad). Even the players that have been in the mix for a long time are hardly experienced (Amir/Junaid) and therefore, is experience even important?

At this point we will still have Malik/Hafeez backers as fans. To them Experience Experience hota ha lol

To be fair, Malik has been okay, so his selection is equivocal. But yeah, persisting with Hafeez at 4 is going to be a terrible decision. Just makes the middle order look so weak.

bring sarfraz at 4 and leave the finisher job to the seniors to fight it out... best thing to remove them is to make both fight for one spot.. the best will stay and the rest result will take care of it..

This team needs Experiance so that it doesn't crumble in pressure situations,Youngsters very easily drop there shoulders when things are going bad but then it's up to the seniors to change that.

It's our younsters that have risen to the occasion. This experience malarky is just a ruse to keep the buddies and sifarshis in the team.

Its called being a defensive mindset when you choose experienced TTF over young players. Always wanted young players to play rather than these TTFs. I rather lose with the new young players(they 'll learn with the lose as they are eager to learn). Experienced players after they lose 'll say "tough to bat on" "uneven bounce" "slow pitch" n blah blah..:broad

You referring to the soft runs against WI and Zimbabwe but in a nutshell both are a huge burden on the team

Malik's also had some decent performances against SL, Eng and Aus since his comeback - at a good SR, at least that is not a complaint in comparison to the likes of Hafeez and Shehzad. But like I said, his selection is open to question as age is not on his side (despite still being one of the fittest in the team).
