Why has Imran Khan failed to revive the fortunes of Pakistan cricket?

The Prime Minister being Patron of Chief for PCB is causing decline in Test Cricket for Pakistan

Every new chairman has its own ideas for PCB and Pakistan FC Cricket, but whenever a new government comes the Chairman changes and all the previous ideas are thrown out, starting from scratch every time.
And this has been happening frequently resulting in a haphazard changes and no proper structure.

Test Cricket needs a robust, consistent and a long running successful FC which has to be the top priority for a board. Do not think any of the political appointees as Chairman of PCB look into long picture and just look for short term fixes and fancy ideas, except for may be Wasim Khan.

Should this concept of Patron in Chief be scrapped ?

Imran Khan spoke to villagers in a small village here named Adiala after his helicopter made an emergency landing at Dera Ismail Khan while en route to Bani Gala.

He spoke about his admiration for Shaheen and also mentioned Haris Rauf as an excellent bowler.
