Why have Pakistan forgotten the importance of a good off spinner in the team?

Ever since Ajmal ban and the finding of Yasir Shah the team management seems to have completely forgotten the crucial role an off spinner plays. Yes we may not have an Ashwin in our bag but we could at least try the options we have..instead of persisting with over aged left armers on UAE tracks. We have pretty much played one dimensional fast bowling line up or spinners in last 3 years. There has not been any thought to this weakness and then we wonder why our bowling is struggling even on NZ and Aus tracks where our bowlers used to enjoy in the past.

Nasir Awais is the best we have followed by Junaid Ilyas.

Pity that Junaid isn't getting decent chances.


Hayatullah is relative of someone and is getting all the limelight.


Nasir's record in last 3 seasons is excellent.

Pakistan Team need a good legal action off spinner

Pakistan team has been suffering ever since Ajmal and Hafeez were banned because of the action
We need good off spinner with so many left handed batsmen playing
Two good off spinners being wasted are Tahir Khan and Junaid Ilyas
Unfortunately tahir is now 35 but he could serve for 5 yrs if he stay fit and is a handy batsman as well
