This tweet from Hemant Buch who has been a part of broadcasting cricket for a very long time is rather damning .

"The first rule of tampering with the ball is to do it only when you play at home and the broadcaster has your back #SAvAUS"

This holier than tho attitude from the southafrican and english fraternity is nauseous . Southafricans cheated their way to two test wins in the Uae and Srilanka by designing special zippers much like the English using mints under Michael vaughan.

I really do think they need to leagalise some form of ball tampering minus the use of foreign objects otherwise this just becomes a case of which team cheats best at times.

That's spot on. :))

Faf was caught away from home.
Bancroft in SA.
Dravid in Brisbane.
Waqar in SL.
Afridi in AUS.
Sachin in SA (yes I know he was cleaning the ball)
Broad/Anderson in SA
Philander in SL

Atherton might be the only example of someone doing it at home and getting caught. I suppose Afridi's pitch tampering as well but that was easy to notice. :))

I am noticing one more Thing, it’s always visitors caught with their pants down. Why all those 26 4K slow motion cameras not focusing on home team. I bet you like neutral umpires there are cases on both sides. Is ICC going to do anything about that 🤔

This is another area where home advantage plays out 😉😉😉

Lol another advantage for the home teams. Let's be honest home broadcasters won't want to expose there country as cheats.
