Why is Moin Khan not getting stick for Quetta Gladiators' below par performances?

Sarfaraz has rightfully come under the scanner but I feel Moin Khan has not got any where near the same stick. What has he exactly bought to the table as a coach apart from the underserved nepotistic selection of his son without any domestic performances to back his selection?

Honestly speaking the QG owner and gomanagement need to run the franchise much more professionally rather than on the basis of their blind loyalty to their people on the back of their personal relationships with the captain and coach

Just don't see it enough. The focus is primarily on Sarfaraz which i find excessive and unfair

Except for Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi all other PSL franchises are extremely unprofessional.

They are run in emotions, relations and friendships.
E.g. I was amazed when I saw Azam Khan's mother along with other QG management at the PSL draft desk (it PSL 5/6, can't remember precisely), what was she doing there?
Was it an organised family function ?
When you have your father as the head coach, your mother on the draft desk, even GOD can't prevent you not being selected.

The blame lies not in the Khan family, they are just enjoying the privilege, but it is the OWNER Nadeem Omar who can't see that a particular family is vacationing on his $$.

People blame Akib Javed ( rightly so) but this Moin Khan is no different, from Quetta Gladiators to Galle Gladiators the $$ keeps coming and his family keeps enjoying.

Honestly speaking, a team comprising of Faf, Russell, Delport, Zahir and a few decent domestic guys has should not be languishing at the bottom of the table. Seems like the players aren't being held accountable so they aren't playing with any urgency.

Nadeem Omar would rather sell his team than kicking out the management and Sarfraz. Remember how much they were whining when Sarfraz was not allowed to board.

His son is one of the best players in team, and I'd choose Azam over any domestic player 8/10 times just because he had better training coaching and mentoring throughout life and is expected to give better results, and if you think he's a braindead fat couch potato you're wrong he has the same passion for cricket running in his veins as anybody else and it's been nurtured by the best there is in Pakistan while others may've same passion but certainly not the same nurturing. The way he plays also confirms it, If you dont watch his innings atleast watch the highlights.

And my priority is Pakistan team winning not nepotism, if Moin Khan and Rashid Latif has XI sons they all can play if they're good enough because our batsmen suck.

I think the responsibility has to be shared.

Skipper, coach have to take their share of the blame too.

The squad is poor when you compare it to others and the skipper, coach and management are responsible for picking the players they have.

Someone should ask Moin Khan why he dropped Saud Shakeel after having him in the squad for a number of years, and without even giving him a single opportunity. On the other hand, his son really didn't really have to do much to become a regular in the team.

That's the problem with a friends party team: you just cannot fire people when things aren't going well.

If it's a boys club where friendships matter more than anything else, then keep him in the role.

"Every season is a new season and every match is a new match - this should be realized by our team; There are no excuses as we played very badly; The other thing is that we couldn't create a good team combination as in every other game, we seem to lose a player"

"We had Chris Gayle in the beginning, then the league stopped and almost new side had to be formed"

"We had Qais come and play for us and he won us a game and we seemed to be building a positive momentum but then the league stopped; Even in the 2nd round, we lost Andre Russell and Fad du Plessis"

Harsh to blame the youngsters.

Some of the senior players haven't been up to the mark and they are the ones who Moin should be scrutinising.
