I was more astounded by the ridiculousness of equivalence between cricket judgement- good or bad and politics... as for captain, obvioudly, that was wrong.

I would agree with you if IK had no background in cricket.

But the reality is IK's background was cricket not politics. If a legendary cricketer of his standing could make such a long list of misjudgements in a field he actually understood, it’s hard to place any confidence in his ability to make sound decisions in an arena where he had even less experience.

I can see where you are heades with that but again, irrelevant and astounding- completely different ball game (excuse the pun).

DEmanding babar as skipper (at the time- the best all format batsman Pak had, with the platform set out for a brilliant career turmed out to be wrong) vs being right on an Inzi or Wasim or leading a team vs the great windies or winning the ultimate (at the time) world cup is irrelevant to politics.

I can see you pick holes in IK, that is fine, there are many but if you used the same zeal to the sharifs or Zardari- I would respect that and it would be honest, however, as mentioned, those that hate him or love him are both extreme but he certainly is not the tripe that are the sharifs or zardaris- that is my opinion, agree to disagree.

Afterwards, he said it was aggressive and positive captaincy- it was stupidity personified- cannot take 10 wickets on a flattish pitch with little time left and scrambling to draw-so, so dumb!

Did that decision affect the decision of the match? You get rated on outcomes. Babar's test captaincy is at least 5x better than recent captains like Azhar, Sarfraz, Shan etc.
