Why our young talent is just not getting established at International level?

Any player who has debut post 2020 never capitalized the opportunity to establish himself as a regular player in the playing XI and no body performed for more 3/4 innings even after having so many chances and I am not talking about young talent who did the grind in our useless domestic cricket (which actually make them worse technically and mentally) I am talking about very young talent with just couple of seasons of domestic cricket, surely such players would have adapted to international cricket if they get proper chances against high quality international players but sadly none of our youngsters adapted at all , it just doesn’t add up, what is the real problem? Because at U19 level they are not extremely bad but once they join the national team there is no progression whatsoever.

And playing meaningless domestic games on low bounce underprepared wickets will actually make the batsmen worse because such batters will develop survival mentality instead of attacking mentality and in real international cricket they will never face low bounce underprepared wickets hence they will learn nothing by playing on such wickets which only exists in our domestic cricket and moreover we will not produce any real fast bowlers because the bowlers will just do the minimal and will just try to pitch the ball in the right areas without bothering about pace and let the pitch do the trick.

Because their goal is to get a contract at T20 leagues around the world - BBL/CPL etc.

International is not in their ambition.

There is no investment in domestic cricket, no requirement for young players to play all formats in domestic cricket, there are very few Under 19 or A team games and tours carried out. The young players don't learn the basics before they get thrown into international cricket usually of the back off some one off performances in PSL. Some initially look ok but then eventually the lack of basic skills catches up with them.
To make things worse once they are in the team they relax and stop developing as players. Many of the actually get lazy and regress.
Talent is never enough at international level.

I see currently India A and India U19 playing Australia respectively when do our youngsters get this kind of experience look when shaeens toured England they picked mir hamza a 34 year old and some current test players

Who ever comes in Pak team whether young or old, a decline is noticeable

that's because they stop playing cricket year around

their agent tells them that they have to take care of their body and should not put their skills at display unless they get paid for it

Players should play year around on a cricket field with clubs and even in poor conditions not suited for international standards - not throwdowns/nets only

the batters goal should be to try to play as many deliveries as possible during the year

bowlers should try to deliver as many balls as possible. going to the gym through out the year only doesn't help. body movement in cricket is very unnatural. weight training alone doesn't produce results. must keep the muscles used to cricket by playing cricket matches throughout the year.

Many Pak cricketers play international cricket after long intervals. They try to get back into cricket physically while on the job, during the international games, instead of personal time.

Last time was 2014, when they played vs South Africa in the final, and ended up losing the final

That team had players such as Sami Aslam, Imam Ul Haq, Saud Shahkeel, Amad Butt, Zia Ul Haq, and Zafar Gohar
