Fast spin, bounce on day one. Usman Khawaja looked very comfortable and at ease in Pakistan against Pakistani spinners playing off the back foot, playing the sweeps, reverse sweeps, using his feet but he looked all at sea against Jayasuriya and got caught at bat pad something that did not look like happening at all in Pakistan.

Pakistan is clearly struggling to produce spinners and quality spinners because of the fact that our curators do not produce wickets which aid and encourage the spinners. A by product is that you have batsmen who struggle vs quality spinners and have no release shots, methods to score against a ruthless line length

I have never seen a proper spin-friendly pitch in Pakistan. All are either flat or pace-friendly.
